This was our third stop along the West Highland Way and we'd had a long 16 miles by the time we got there. Tip for walkers - don't take the fork for Crianlarich! Ewich House is in between Crianlarich and Tyndrum so take the next fork, or cheat and get a taxi at Chrianlarich like we did. By the time... More

After a 26km ( approx. 16 miles ) hike on the WHW I got to Ewich House where I had reservations for one night. For those of you also hiking the WHW, Ewich house has a sign on the path showing you where to go. I was welcomed to the house and shown to my room. The room looked very... More

This was a truly enjoyable stay in the countryside. The room was spacious, light and clean with all amenities and the breakfast was exceptional with attention to detail. Wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

My boyfriend and I were walking the west highland way, and one of the days rain was pouring down. We were wet to the bones, so when we saw a sign saying 'Ewich House 200 meters' we decided to go there and ask for some shelter for an hour or so. We arrived and knocked on the door, and the... More

This is an excellent B&B. The beds are supremely comfortable and the rooms are spotless. Our room was small but priced accordingly and was excellent value for money. Breakfast was well cooked with a good selection of fresh fruit salad, yoghurts, cereals, and toast from "real bread" (many B&Bs just use sliced loaves). If you are walking the West Highland... More

This place lived up to expectations. We received a warm welcome and the house was well presented and was a lovely place to stay. The room was very comfortable albeit noisy floor boards. The breakfast was good but could have been excellent if host had been a little more generous on portion sizes. The hosts were very pleasant and so... More

Fortunately for us, we stayed at so many beautiful bed and breakfasts that it was difficult to say which was the best. However, unfortunately for us, we were able to determine which was the least, Ewich House. We met the owner (we introduced ourselves, he did not) when we arrived and he showed us to our room (which was on... More

Sorry for that but you have been the first one complaining about a blind that does not cover the last 5cm. You need a magnifier glass to sneak through that little gap to see something :-) Also what is wrong with Hikers that are drying there tent and sleeping Bags after a raining Day in "my Garden" . And with... More

There really isn’t anything to dislike about staying here, this rustic stone cottage in landscaped grounds is top quality. It’s beautifully and tastefully furnished throughout, with spotlessly clean and comfortable en suite rooms and cosy communal areas, free Wi-Fi, and is in a quiet location despite its proximity to the main road. Breakfast was varied and ample. The new owners,... More

We stayed here for one night on our return home from Syke, this time meeting the new owners Silvia and Daniel, who were very friendly and helpful. We stayed in a double room which was lovely. The cooked breakfast and coffees in the morning were great. I'm sure we will be staying here again on our next holiday in Scotland.

When we rang the doorbell on arrival, a man opened the door to us but said very little did not introduce himself and didn't even ask who we were! Still have no idea what his name is or the woman's name who served us breakfast the next morning. We had booked a double room but were shoe-horned into a tiny... More
