Quiet location, despite being just off a main road. If you are a light sleeper you may be disturbed by the noisy floors if your partner gets up during the night. Curtains very thin and therefore do not keep out the light. Quality of the breakfast good with freshly laid eggs from owner's chickens. Owner's cats and dog have free run of the house. My biggest criticism, in these very difficult times, was the owners DID NOT wear MASKS at breakfast service. Unless you have 12ft long arms you cannot distance when putting plates down on the breakfast table in front of your guests. Having a very elderly Mum at home who we have carefully been shielding we felt we were putting her at risk by their actions. We have worn masks religiously to protect her and ourselves but having to remove them at breakfast to eat (obviously) and the owners not following the guidelines made us feel extremely uncomfortable and vulnerable.…
Stayed at Ewich House for only 1 night during road trip. Silvia very helpful as had to change time of arrival due to car break down. Lovely spot, gardens surrounded by trees, very tranquil for such a convenient location, whole house exceptionally clean and tidy and great breakfast cooked by Daniel. Restaurants very nearby at either Tyndrum or Crianlarich. Would definitely highly recommend. Lovely dog...thank you all for a great stay.
After a long day’s drive, this was an excellent B&B to stay in, friendly reception, very welcoming and organised; lovely room very clean, although didn't use, nice lounge with large TVs, excellent breakfast. Located off A82, so ideally located for Loch Lomond, Trossachs and those heading to or from Fort William, Inverness and NC500. Overall good value for money and would definitely stay there again. Definitely recommend it.
Single night family stay in 2 rooms August 2020. Both rooms were a comfortable size , very well maintained and spotlessly presented. Sylvia was charming and looked after us very well. Good breakfast. Covid 19 restrictions well handled.
I arrived a little earlier than I had originally estimated but still within the check in times stated on my booking. Silvia was doing the garden and greeted me as I had parked up before showing me to my room. The property is in a great location set back from the A82, however you wouldn’t notice as the trees block out most of the noise and view. The back garden had stunning views on a clear day of some beautiful hills with a picnic table too. My single room (No4) look out to the front garden (which was very well kept). The room I had booked was a single room with ensuite which I would say was good value for money. The bed was comfy, the room had everything I needed! The house had a communal living room which had a bigger tv and books and things to keep you busy after a long day, both that and the dining room were very clean and nicely furnished. There was lots of information in leaflets at the hotel on surrounding areas and things to do, Silvia and Daniel were also on hand to recommend places to visit. Breakfast was fantastic, eggs were very fresh from the hens outside! I couldn’t have felt more welcomed after my long day our walking. I would recommend Ewich House and will consider booking again when I go walking at different parts of Scotland! Thank you both (& ellie)! …
