Great location, the owners Dave and Angie were really welcoming, room was clean. Bathroom fine if a little dated, but everything was in good working order and the shower powerful and hot. Walkers are asked to leave there boots in the entrance hall on the shoe stand which is a great idea. You are asked to place your breakfast order... More

If you want a quiet place to stay on New Year's Eve, then this is the place to be. There was no traffic outside, and the only noise I heard was a guest that arrived at 3am and felt compelled to yell good night to the taxi driver before he clomped up the stairs. When we arrived, Dave showed us... More

Service was 10/10. The guy running the place seen us immediately and was very friendly and helpful. Room was cosy, amazing view from the window. Bed was comfy too. Could come back at any time which was great as it was new year. Asked for a late checkout and he was happy to accommodate! All in it was a fantastic... More

We had room 3 & it was awful. Entering the room felt like a time warp. It was cold to the point where the bed actually felt damp. Very old single glazed window to the front didn't close properly & it was filthy! All back sludge in the corners & underneath was a radiator (never came on) which was brimming... More

Stayed here very recently for 1 night. I do not mind basic accommodation, however, I do want it to be clean. The shower had black sludge dripping from the shower gel tray, there were large cobwebs above the beds in the corners of the room, and when flushing the toilet there was a strong smell of urine. I hate being... More

This accommodation was good value for money. Although the room was small, it was very comfortable and everything was ok. A very friendly welcome and a brilliant cooked breakfast. The location is excellent - on the banks of Loch Long - and we had a front room with a view across the Loch.

I know the cost was very reasonable but our experience of the room was terrible. We had an upstairs room, single glazing and very small. My husband who is under six foot could not stand to use the toilet and had to squeeze through the very small narrow door to the ensuite. The door wouldn't even open to half way... More

There are very mixed reviews about this B and B and I want to offer a fair and balanced review. On the positive, the location is amazing, with stunning views from the bedroom over the loch. There was free off road parking, sky tv, good hospitality tray and the hotel is dog friendly. The host, David was friendly and welcoming.... More

Had a great stay on the first night of a walking trip so much so I booked another night for the return leg, very friendly and helpful hosts, brilliant breakfast and a great room! The breakfast was very tasty and filling despite me only having a small request so a full breakfast must be amazing. The view across the loch... More
