Have stayed here many times before and have liked the quirkiness of the place. Sadly, this time we were very disappointed!! Bar had good atmosphere but staying overnight wasn't good! Fire alarm went off at 00.45 and initially guests couldn't get out front door as no staff around!! Eventually a staff member came from annexe across road and switched alarm... More

4th visit, love it here. Atmospheric, welcoming, cosy and steeped in history. The comments from all over the world in the visitors book tend to agree. The home cooked Scotch Broth and haggis neeps and tatties - are just delicious.

Not good value for money. Unless you don't mind taking a step back into the past.meal was mediocre to say the least. The room smelled , the bedsteds were from the 1940's . Staff were pretty glum . This is a place for the tourists . It sells itself on its history , being a watering hole for the cattle... More

This place is really fun. As long as stuffed creatures don't bother you! Suit of armor and all kinds of fun things. The bartenders and servers all wore kilts. Food and drink were good. Patrons were all friendly and we struck up conversations with many. It is right on the road. I highly recommend it,

We enjoyed our stay in the Drover's Inn on our holiday along the West Highland Way. The Inn has a great atmosphere of an authentic inn for the cattle drovers back in the day, offers great food for a reasonable price and has a very good selection of scotch single malts! Beware though that the inn has a reputation of... More

My aunt, cousin and I visited 1 week ago. You are greeted by very friendly staff and such a laid back atmosphere with a real Scottish twist. Food was lovely and very reasonably priced. Service was fast too. Cameron is an asset to the place. Made us feel very at home. Couldn't fault it at all.

This Inn from 1705 feels like it they have stopped doing anything right about that time. The restaurant is good, but the rooms are simply terrible. They smell like the dust from three centuries, there is mold everywhere and it feels more like a health hazard than a place to sleep. The rug in the room hasn't probably been changed... More

Inside nowhere, in the national park you find this restaurant. Simply fantastic, crowded and unique decoration. terrible choice for a stop for rest or night. You can dismiss several dining options and drinks in the restaurant and of course there is car weights room.

On approach i commented to my husband that the hotel looked derelict and the rooms must be across the road so i was surprised to be given the key to room 4 and directed upstairs in the main building. If there was another option, i probably wouldn't have stayed once i saw the room. Carpet didn't fit, very basic furniture,... More

Located at the very top of Loch Lomond, The Drovers Inn is steeped in three centuries of Scottish tradition. In fact, Rob Roy himself has enjoyed hospitality at this world-reknowned hotel, bar and restaurant! Our residents vary from those who are stopping-over on their west highland way adventure, to those who are staying purely for the good food and entertainment. The bar regularly hosts local musicians and guests and guaranteed a lively time on Friday and Saturday nights. Come in for a heat - and stay for the warmth. ... more   less
