Had a great two day stay at this Inn just north of Loch Lomond. The staff all wear kilts and set the scene and the standard for the rest of Scotland. Very comfortable room, big breakfast and lovely choice of dinners from the pub menu. Easy to book direct on line. Fascinating collection of stuffed animals although not everyones idea... More

I stayed here for the 4th time on 1/2/16, we booked the family room as always. We all love the Drovers and have eaten here 9 or 10 times in the past. The room was great as always but it was also freezing, colder than any of our previous visits. On arrival the reception was empty so i went to... More

Been a couple of times. The hotel is really old but that's what make it what it is. The rooms are clean. Not much noise at night. Food is really nice. Live entertainment was great and breakfast was nice!

Visited the Drovers this evening with my partner and was sadly disappointed. I have been in a couple of times in the past in passing for a drink and I've always admired the place. It is in a stunning setting and is packed with character! This evening however the service really let it down. We arrived around 5pm and the... More

My girlfriend booked this for my birthday and she never disappoints, the location is majestic, the hotel is so quirky, think sherlock homes meets auld Scotland meets the Adams family! The foyer is full of old curiosities; stuffed bears, wolves and birds. The restaurant was cracking, a huge log fire and great food. It's also dog friendly! The room, whilst... More

many folk seem to be easy to please, so its no surprise that the drovers seems to thrive! We arrived at approx. 7.30pm Saturday 16th(my first and last visit) staff were abrupt and unsmiling. Hurried to our room in the small complex opposite the main hotel, room was warm, but the radiators were by then not working. Ordered our supper... More
