Purchased a voucher for a night away, when trying to book with the voucher the receptonist was extremly rude and uninterested in the details just very dismissive. I tried to give details and ask for dates to receive a sigh as a response to every question. Ended up we never used the voucher

My husband and I just spent a lovely weekend for my birthday at the Arrochar Hotel. Having reviewed other comments, I feel that some are a bit unfair and expectations too high. This is a 2 star hotel and I felt it exceeded that. Yes, it is a bit worn but has a lovely feel to it. Arrival: We arrived...

We stayed here for 3 nights breakfast and evening meal and for £87 it was ok. Room was basic and clean staff were friendly and helpful food portions average size and not too bad. Breakfast could have more choice but we didn't starve. The hotel needs refurbished but we didn't pay a lot and the location is stunning.

This is a super hotel to use as a base for visiting this area of Scotland. Some of the decor really needs an updating but as we personally don't go on holiday to sit in a hotel all day it was grand. Everything in our room worked the tv was large enough for the room, tea and coffee available, hairdryer and heated...

Thankfully only an overnight stay. A tired hotel that requires not only repair and tlc but also a good clean. If we paid full price I would be giving one point. Food was very average and a shame too as some effort is being made. Staff friendly but not an Hotel I would visit again.
