Used a base for a wedding at Mount Stuart, good location close to ferry, did not stay but rooms were very clean with great sea views. Bar and restaurant good value for money, as there were five of us we hired a cottage, but for a couple would highly reccomend.

Booked at a weeks notice with my wife and 6 months old son. Hotel caters for primarily coach party's who took great delight in cooing over my son and remarking how handsome he was and what a striking resemblance to his father. Staff are helpful and polite and even entertained our son so we could finish out pudding Food is... More

This hotel must have been absolutely fabulous in its day. It has a magnificent location overlooking the sea and is up a fairly steep hill. Now, it is mostly used by the Shearings coach company and National coaches. We travelled here on a four nights break with Shearings. It was our first holiday with them and we are hooked. We... More

It was reached by... More

My husband and I had a 2night break from 15 July, this was our first time in Rothesay and we both feel we could not have gotten a better place to stay. We stayed in room 411 which had a sea view and the room was very clean and good ensuite. The staff could not have been anymore helpful and... More

I read a few really bad reviews of this Hotel and was rather wary but I have just returned from a 4 day National Coach holiday from Newcastle Upon Tyne. The Glenburn is located right on the sea front, but beware if you have mobility problems as there are about 5 flights of very steep steps to it or around... More
