Can not but praise this b&b. My BIL and I visited on our motorcycles for a night. The twin room was immaculate and well equipped. The views of Bute were stunning. Lovely breakfast with expansive views. Definitely recommended.

Beautiful location. Fantastic view from the bedrooms at the front of the house. Rooms spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated etc. Breakfasts were really good, plenty of food on offer. Really liked that there were bottles of water in the bedrooms, as well as tea/coffee making facilities and biscuits. Veronica and Ian were very welcoming and friendly. Wish we'd had more time... We stayed one night in this lovely B and B, but wish we could have stayed a bit longer. We had a lovely big room with magnificent sea views. The bed was large and very comfortable and the room spotless and well equipped. The couple running it are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent and the views from... More

Just stayed one night as visiting our friends who were sailing in area- received a very quick email confirmation and no problem at all to amend the booking when our daughter decided she didn't want to stay for the organised sleepover on our friends' boat! Ian happily agreed to put an extra bed into our room. Nice breakfast room in... More

Myself and a colleague stayed here in July 2015 for an outdoor fieldwork project in Argyll forest. The rooms were large and spacious and the rooms at the front have fantastic views. Both Ian and Veronica were lovely hosts and the breakfasts were brilliant. It is within easy walking distance of several pubs and hotels, including the Royal and the... More

While the décor of the rooms are not really my personal taste, I have to say this was great value and great friendly hosts. In a good location with wonderful views, the breakfast was excellent quality. I really appreciate meeting B+B owners who love dogs and where there are no worries about having a dog with you. Didn't even charge... More

Sorry you did not like the decor, the decor in that room is not to our taste either, we only took over the B+B in 2014 and have not yet had time to decorate to our taste. Thanks for your other kind comments and hope to see you all again... Cheers Ian and Veronica More

We passed through on a cycling trip. We had a lovely room overlooking the Kyles of Bute. There is everything you could need including free WiFi. The owners are really friendly, great breakfast, we'll be back.

We stayed in this B & B for 3 nights in July 2015. It has the most lovely views over the Kyles of Bute, and is homely at the same time as being very nicely decorated and furnished (and very clean!) We arrived after 6 days camping on Arran with a wet tent, windbreak and wet clothes, and Ian and... More

A cosy b&b in the heart of Tighnabruaich. The rooms are warm and nicely furnished, with fantastic views. The owners Veronica and Ian were friendly and welcoming, and provided us with an excellent full Scottish breakfast.

Stayed here for a mid week biking trip. What a fabulous guest house. Large modern room with a fantastic view. Friendly hospitality with nice little touches like chocolate bars and bottled water as well as your tea and coffee facilities. Would we stay here again? You bet we would. Mandy and Trevor.
