Positioned about 1/2 mile off the West Highland Way this B&B is quite strange...lots of nick naks, very plush duvets, pillows and furnishings, but just way to much stuff everywhere. Was a job to find a space to put anything down. The owners are not very warm and friendly and we were reduced to feeling like naughty school children as... More

We came to a nice, clean and spoiling guest house. A welcoming sitting room with a huge fruit plate! The rims are nice with all you need: shampoos, shaving equipment and coffee and cookies. The breakfast table is vert nice- like in the fairytales. I warmly recognized!

We had booked a room months in advance, but when we got there after a full day walk on the West Highland Way they told us we had been double booked, and that there was no room available. We had received no text message or email warning us of this problem. The manager barely apologized and took us to another... More

If you've never been to a B&B before, this is exactly what you're picturing in your mind. The rooms were a good size & the bed was comfortable. If you're walking the West Highland Way, this is a bit of walk off the trail... and it's uphill. It's also a little ways from the main part of town. Not a... More

Drew and Elsie run this B&B and their son is the chef. You are welcomed with fresh fruit and cookies and chocolates in your room. The room we stayed in was quite small but the bathroom was large. In your room is a welcome packet with shampoo, conditioner, soap, and lotion. There are extra supplies on a table in the... More

This was our last stop on the West Highland Way by which time we were pretty tired with aching feet and sore legs. Edencoille was exactly what we needed. Our hosts had thought of everything! Our room had a foot spa (!) dressing gowns, hot water bottle, loads of lovely toiletries and snacks. Beds were heavenly and the bathroom was... More

I have read many of the reviews on Edencoille and am amazed and disappointed at the negative comments about Drew our host. Drew is a quiet guy but definitely not rude or grumpy as some of the comments say. He was very helpful with everything and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The house itself is lovely. We had a... Nice and clean b & b with good location just outside Kinlochleven. Good and friendly host in this family run place. Excellent breakfast and fantastic view to the mountains. Good facilities and everything you would expect in terms of towels, soal, tea, coffee, chocolate etc etc is there.

Edencoille is an Oasis. A very high end B&B but yet reasonably priced. It is first class from the beautiful ensuite rooms to the elegant dining room where breakfast is served. There are many breakfast choices from smoked salmon to your typical Scottish breakfast. A real plus is the drying room. Rain or shine your clothes will be dry in... More
