Really enjoyed my stay here. Not into my whisky but if you were there was a really good collection available. Enjoyed the locally brewed beer. Food was very good and very decent value. Had a few drinks with the owners and you could tell they were putting a lot of effort into the place

I stayed one night in the Hotel after a hot days walk from Kings House and have nothing but good things to say about all the facilities I used. The welcome was warm and friendly, the bar was excellent ( the staff were top class). I ate off the bar menu and it was most enjoyable ( I did see... More

Arrived around 2.00pm soaking wet after walking over from Kingshouse. My clients were accommodated in the Hotel but I was "confined" to the log cabins. Although this was a budget option I was not too impressed with the facilities. I had plenty of room although the 2 bunk beds would have been extremely overcrowded if 4 people were sharing. I... Excellent value for money, went with another reviewer, Kieran, agree fully, enjoyed the stay and made better by the couple and staff that own and run it. Good central location for touring and walking as long as you prepare for the Scottish "flying teeth" midges.

Really enjoyed my stay in MacDonald Hotel. I stayed at the campsite for two nights while doing the West Highland Way. The people from MacDonald were very kind and helpfully. The restaurant had the best view and the food was really good. Internet had a good speed as well. Showers are clean and enough hot water. Would recommend this place!

The hotel is in a truly lovely spot - a lovely highland setting, just around Glencoe and on the way to Fort Williams... a nice town also. The hotel is well managed, friendly and helpful staff and very patient with children and that is a high point. Rooms are just ok, some of them would definitely benefit from renovation/upgrading. Breakfast... More

Great scenic location, good friendly bar where you can watch any sport thats on, decent shared shower and drying room for our gear and the bunkhouse was small but clean and comfy. Overall, brilliant value for what we paid. Breakfast and packed lunch available on request. Good Wifi... More

great accommodation, lovely food. great service. Scenery beautiful in a quiet location. Friendly people. Motel situated near the water which makes it a great location to sit and have a quiet drink with friends or to just relax after a long day of travelling.

12 of us spent 4 nights here on a motorcycle tour of the Highlands. Pros: The welcome was warm and covered everything i needed including door codes for the drying room and wifi codes for the rooms and bars (you need to logon separately). The room was comfortable with a midge screen over the windows along with tea, coffee and... More

Easy to find on a lovely scenic drive. The cabins are very cute and have 4 bunks beds (with base sheets and pillows) and space to keep your bags etc basic but clean. With it being Scotland, midges are inevitable but there are midge screens on your windows (keep your door shut) and midge repellent etc available at the hotel.... More
