Excellent value for money ! Houses are tiny but cute and clean. Perfect for friends, students or families who do not need to sleep in a castle. Near to a climbing center, shops and restaurants. Also, caution with the midges... even if it's part of the folklore.

They should improve the signs and give better directions to reach the hostel. We lost almost one hour to find the structure. And in the end we found out there were two different places! We stayed at the West Highland Lodge, up to the mountain. And Booking gave us a completely wrong address drove us to the campsite near the... More

We stayed for three nights in a 4 person microlodge. The pod had a double bed and two singles (which we used as sofas during the day), a microwave, kettle, TV and fridge, which were all very clean. However, the pod we stayed in was a bit hot, as we only had a heater, not a fan, but it was... More

The glamping pod was very nice and warm. It was a great experience and the view was amazing. For the price it was very worthy. There was a microwave and heating inside. The only problem is the lack of sheets and towels that we have to carry.

The glamping unit was so incredibly comfy, dry and clean. Setting is right next to river running - let the babbling brook rock you to sleep after a great day of hiking or spending time in the immediate town or nearby Fort William!!! Awesome value!!!!

We were very happy in our Megapod on a very rainy blustery day. The pod itself was cozy and well equipped for three adults and a baby. The tent-camping grounds were VERY crowded with hikers, so the shared showers and drying rooms were over capacity (flooded showers, full and smelly drying rooms) but we didn't mind so much because we... Now I don't expect the same standard as a hotel but comparing with other SYHA place we stayed (Rowardennan) it does not come out on top. Positives - great location for restaurants and local shop, well-appointed kitchen, helpful warden and nice scenery at the back - the front looks into a water treatment station. Not so positive - when your... More

The say at Blackwater Hostel was Ok. The location was good and the staff were friendly but there was the problem with the barbecue place right in front of our window. Apart from that it is quite a nice place to stay

Very well insulated, they did the job for a night. We were fully protected from midges as well which was a godsend. We didn't know that they didn't provide pillows and bedding but could hire them for £5 as we could with towels. Basic accommodation but there are limited options and I've got to say the staff were great, we... More
