A lovely old house and nice people doing their very best but our nights sleep was spoilt by uncomfortable pillows. I does say in welcome pack to ask but wr were in bed by then. Also tea cups in rooms are tiny. A mug would be nice. I sprung my peculiar eating requirements on them without notice and they did... More

This was my first stay at Allt-Na-Craig and I would not hesitate to go back. Throughout my stay (new owners) Caroline and Philip were welcoming, friendly and nothing was ever too much trouble!. I would highly recommend the Stornoway Black Pudding for breakfast- Philip is a very good cook and the hearty breakfast provided was the perfect start to anyone's... More

Highly recommended! Very welcoming couple, who gave great advice about what to see in the area and where we could eat. The house is in a very peaceful location with stunning views. Coming home in the evening to a roaring fire was such a treat. Delicious breakfast also. Wouldn't hesitate to go back.

I have now stayed overnight on three occasions. Spacious and clean rooms. The owners are welcoming and friendly. Great breakfast. The only place to stay in Lochgilphead. This is a beautiful part of the world and the hotel has great views down the Loch.

This is how to do it right! A genuine warm and friendly welcome got better as the house is beautifully decorated and the most spick-and-span building you could imagine. Everything worked and was well screwed together (which experienced B&Bers will know is actually quite rare). The secure cycle storage, large car park, perfectly groomed gardens and comfortable sitting room were... More

Stayed for one night in May, which was a shame as this is truly a first class place. Lovely house and host. I was travelling alone on a bicycle and was very pleased at being able to store the bike in a garage. Breakfast was lovely and the standard of the accommodation could not have been higher. Would recommend to... More

We arrived in the early evening after a long drive down from north of Inverness. We were welcomed warmly by the host, who showed us to the room up a couple of flights of stairs. It is in an old large Victorian house, but has been well kept and is in good condition inside and out. It is situated in its... More

After knocking the door I was greeted warmly by the owner who immediately took my case and led me to a very pleasant room. The property is beautiful, set in it's own well kept grounds with a wonderful aspect directly over Loch Fyne. The fittings and carpets are immaculate. My room had a great shower and very good wifi access.... More

My husband and I had a very comfortable overnight stay in late May. Our room was very acceptable and lovely views over the loch. Philip and Caroline provided an excellent breakfast in the sunny dining room and there was an good choice on offer.

This was the first time I have stayed in Allt na Craig B&B and I would definitely visit again. I stayed for one week in a lovely room overlooking the loch- What a view!! The hosts Caroline and Philip were very welcoming and I felt at home straight away. The variety on offer for breakfast was amazing, I couldn't resist... More
