I spent three nights at Purgavie farm and my friends joined me for two nights. Moira and Dave are very welcoming. The breakfast Moira provides is first class and it sets you up well for a day's hiking and walking in the area. We all enjoyed our chats with Moira who is very knowledgeable about the area I grew up...

We enjoyed a fabulous stay for 3 nights in September 2016 as part of our 3 week tour round Scotland. Purgavie Farm was simply one of the best B&Bs we stayed in and offered a room easily twice the size of many others we experienced. We were given a warm welcome and enjoyed some of the best breakfasts in Scotland,...

We have just spent two nights at Purgavie - our third visit. This time we were with our daughter, son in law and 3 year old grandson. It is a very peaceful location with views to the Sidlaw Hills. The rooms are very comfortable and the breakfasts excellent. As always, a great welcome! We'll be back!

Purgavie farm is a typical Scottish farmhouse, surrounded by green countryside. It was very relaxing days, in silence, admiring castles and see the wonders of Scotland. The farm is very welcoming, thanks to the infinite kindness of Mrs. Moira. The room was beautiful, very spacious and warm, with a large bathroom. All objects in the room were beautifully maintained. Everything...

Our stay at Purgavie Farm was the highlight of our trip to Scotland. Looking out of our lovely spacious bedroom upstairs, we viewed the most bucolic and idyllic countryside; a gorgeous green valley with sheep and cows grazing everywhere. Moira, our hostess was so engaging and attentive. She served us a spectacular breakfast with eggs, homemade jam and lovely fresh...

The first 3 arrived mid morning, then a further 2 mid afternoon and the last 3 members of the grouped arrived in the middle of the night, none of this phased Moira in the slightest. Her welcome and Scottish Breakfast is absolutely 1st class. We are going back in September 2016.

This lovely B&B has made vacation times in Scotland over the years a wonderful experience. Moira & Dave go out of their way to be sure you are looked after. The breakfast menu, all freshly cooked and expertly prepared are delicious. The views over the farm and surrounding countryside are beautiful. By far the best B&B we have stayed in in a very long time. Moira and Dave are fantastic hosts very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. From the moment we arrived (after a 10 hour drive) the stress of the drive (and life in general) just melted away. I was a little concerned of finding the B&B but...
