Lovely house, lovely spotless bedrooms, lovely garden, lovely dogs and yummy breakfast. Your hosts are friendly and full of useful information. This B&B is very close to Glenlivet Distillery. It is essentially rural so you would require a car. There is a nice little inn nearby that has excellent food, certainly within walking distance. The only person it wouldn't suit...

We stayed here for 3 nights and we had the "green" room. Ruud and Helen are really friendly people who will do everything to make you feel at home. There is enough to do around the Glenlivet area. On advice of Helen and Ruud we visited the cooperage (a true must visit) and of course the distillery of Glenlivet at...

Without doubt the best bed and breakfast I have ever stayed in. From the moment I arrived to the moment I left, it was a complete joy. I received the warmest of welcomes from my hosts ( both human and canine). I had the best nights sleep of my life. Exceptional room. Great breakfast. There isnt a single negative point....

Ruud and Helen are very kind people, they make you feel at home from the moment you arrive. The rooms are very spacious and the lounge area is super cosy (especially when Ruud lights a fire). We came here for the Speyside whisky festival, the location is absolutely perfect if you wish to visit some speyside distilleries and towns. We...

The Bank House is a lovely Bed&Breakfast. Helen and Ruud are very helpful and really trying to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The breakfast was extraordinary, it was the best breakfast during our stay in Scotland. You really have to try the scramble eggs and salmon. The pub is just a 15 minutes walk from the Bank House,...

We've stayed in B&B's, top hotels and hostels all round the world and this is one of our favourite experiences. Rudd and Helen are extremely helpful and their 2 dogs are so friendly, but leave you alone if you don't fuss them. We had afternoons by the fire with tea and biscuits, a big long walk, and a free lift...

We stayed here in a group of three couples and couldn't have asked for better accommodation or more accommodating hosts. The only negative from our perspective is that they have two beautiful dogs that were allowed into the guest lounge. The house itself is a little isolated but that is part of its charm and it is beautifully furnished and...

I spent a night here this summer whilst walking with my dog and cannot express how comfortable Helen and Rudd made my stay. We were both given a warm welcome despite our muddy boots and paws. Tara soon made firm friends with Finnan and Nevis and they even loaned her one of their dog beds for the night. Tea in...

A very lucky find for 2 nights, as a base to do the Tomintoul spur of the Speyside Way. Ruud took me to the start in Tomintoul, as a very gracious free service for guests. A couple of free drams at the Whisky Castle shop helped me get my lazy bones on the way and another free dram at Glenlivet...

Our party of 5 spent June 5 and 6, 2014 in this delightful B&B while hiking part of the Speyside Way. Our rooms were quite large and comfortable, and the breakfasts were the best we had in Scotland. The house and garden are charming. The area is a little remote, but there is an excellent pub within walking distance and...
