Really welcoming. Three nights, walking in between and everything I wanted and needed. Great bar, really good food. Friendly and cosy. Lovely separate family room suited us perfectly. Many thanks for a great stay.

We had an amazing 2 night stay and will be definitely going back. Food was fantastic, staff were incredibly helpful and feels like we were taken care of personally as if we had known them for years. Beautiful location for a hotel within easy walking distance of the town.

If you are expecting a Four Seasons, Ritz, or Hilton, then this is not the hotel for you. On the other hand, if you are looking for a warm, friendly, inviting family run bed-and-breakfast, then you would have trouble finding a better hotel anywhere in Scotland. We stayed there over the Highland games in 2016, and I cannot imagine a...

Hi Don We are glad you enjoyed your stay with us over the games weekend and it was a pleasure to have you all. Although a bit noisy at times (especially when the pipe band were playing in the bar) it was a great atmosphere and we hope all of our guests enjoyed it as much as we did. We...

We were at the hotel for the Highland games September 2016.we were treated like royalty and despite a very busy demand on their time.the family owners ,who are lovely people, attended to our every need. The hotel is spotless.the breakfasts are to die for,and though we ate in three different places our moor field dinner was the best in the town....

A fine, well-situated, family-run hotel - only a short walk to the village centre. New owners working hard to deliver high quality accommodation and good service. Nice informal bar with real ales; delicious food prepared to order.

We had a very nice room overlooking the back garden. Grant, Maria, Martin and Helen were extremely friendly and made us most welcome. We had only booked one night but had to stay another as my husband 'put his back out', luckily our room was not booked! The owners were very concerned about him and offered all sorts of help....

Whilst not in the village centre nothing is far in Braemar. After a shaky check in the room was small but lovely furnishings. Recently refurbished. And the breakfast staff and breakfast were really grand.

Although we are staying elsewhere, my husband and I had dinner last night at Moorfield House's restaurant. It was the best meal we'd eaten all week! I had grilled salmon ; he had a ribeye; both were cooked to perfection. And best of all, they were served with some real vegetables, not just the ubiquitous chips! Okay, his steak came...

We stayed one night, very friendly owners. The hotel is under new management, so I think they are still finding thier feet. Our room was fine, small, with a little bathroom the bed was a bit creaky. But for one night it was fine. We ate in the resturant, food was good, and very reasonable. Breakfast was good not greasy...
