Stayed over for one night during a visit to the north of Scotland. The room was clean and so was the bathroom. Decent sized room with space enough for our dog cage. Breakfast was smoked haddock with a poached egg, Huge piece of haddock that was very tasty.

Stayed here on our drive along the North Coast 500. Staff were friendly and helpful. Hotel was delightful and room was very good, with views over the loch. Great breakfast and the evening meal we had was very nice. Would definitely recommend the Poolewe Hotel and would stay there again.

Had a family get together after a funeral here. The staff were very helpful in all the arrangements. Everyone commented on the quality fare that was on offer. Some relatives stayed the night and they commented similarly.

Stayed for one night with my three daughters whilst driving the NC500. Booked a family room and actually got a room in the annexe with 2 beds, kitchen, living room and bathroom - nice surprise. Would have been good to stay longer. The waiting staff were lovely. Food in the bar was good and the helpings were big. Breakfast was... More

Loch Ewe and the surrounding areas are simply stunning and the Poolewe Hotel makes a perfect home from home from which to explore. I was lucky enough to get a room at last minute (not always possible as the hotel is now very busy). Have stayed here many times now and it is always the same friendly atmosphere. The room I had was in the annexe and was perfect, roomy, onsuite and comfy. Gary and his team went out of their way to... More

Loads of parking, lovely loch view room (even through the drizzle), smashing dinner in the bar at night and a good breakfast in the morning...what more can you ask for! :-) Would stay there again if we are in the area.

The literature had lead me to expect something better but I'll get to that later. Lacking a warm Scottish welcome. The staff were doing their job but without any personality (perhaps due to their unfamiliarity with English). We were shown to a double room in the annex. It was adequate but small, there were stains on the carpet and the... More

Was lucky enough to wind up here on their special offer curry night. We had delicious poppadums with spiced chutney, then excellent beef curries and rice. We indulged in puddings though we could easily have forgone them. The bar is modern and busy, obviously popular with locals and holidaymakers alike. Given the quality of the food and the excellent service,... More

We stayed here for three nights. The food is bar menu style and was reasonably good but we got the impression that the hotel was short-staffed which inevitably led to a poorer service than we would have expected. Additionally, apart from one, all appeared to be from Eastern Europe and struggling with English. That said, they were all friendly and... More
