Cramped bedroom, no dresser, no bathtub, no TV, no cellphone coverage, one small window with not much of a view. So why did we find staying here one of the most pleasurable experiences in all our travels? First of all because of the proprietors: Simon and Kirsty. You’ve heard often enough the word of praise for a B&B host: friendly....

This b&b is above all the rest. Being a foodie, food matters. I was blown away here at The Glenview. We had homemade carmel tablets on our bed when we arrived. The dinner was amazing and the breakfast, outstanding. Homemade granola and jellies. They really put in a lot of time and care into your experience here. Highly recommend. location...

We stayed here for one night and we loved it!!! The owner are very nice people and very attentive to your needs. Our room was spaceful and very nicely decorated with antique. The area is very quiete. We also had dinner and it is one of the best dinner we had in Scotland. The chef is very creative and was...

Location of hotel and B&B is very quiet, as it is on a one lane road. Close to Quairang and the Old Man of Storr - excellent views and hikes. We had Room 3 - a nicely decorated room with ensuite on the first floor. We stayed there for 2 nights and had dinner there every night. The 3 course...

What a wonderfully warm and welcoming b&b! The inn was very artistically posh - I loved the decor completely! It was so comfortable and relaxing. We had been traveling all over Scotland and Simon & Kristy were so welcoming and ready to help make our experience truly special. You could tell they were genuinely kind and loving with everything they...

We stayed in The Barn, Culnanoc, opposite the Glenview and went there twice during our stay for dinner. The service is excellent without being over the top and the food is out of this world . This place beats the 'Three Chimmneys' in every aspect Give it a try you won't be disappointed. Booking is required and they don't open...

My husband and I stayed three nights at the Glenview. Beyond the gorgeous scenery of the Isle of Skye, the Glenview is situated perfectly about 20 minutes drive time north of Portree. The room was perfect, large, clean, and with fresh fruit each day. But, what really set the Glenview apart from many hotels/B&Bs that we have stayed at over...

We fell in love with the Isle of Skye! It is magnificently beautiful, and The Glenview is a wonderful place to stay. We loved that it is a bit away from town - we loved the quiet. Our room was cozy and beautiful. Breakfasts were marvelous. We had dinner only the first night - and it is a dinner we...

My friend and I decided to do a little road trip through Scotland. Wanting to see the less populated, more picturesque areas, we decided on the northern area of the Isle of Skye. What a pleasant surprise it was to pull up to the Glenview. It is settled in a gorgeous area and it really was exactly what we were...

We spent 2 nights B & B at the hotel and throughly enjoyed it. It is small, intimate and comfortable, and we were made very welcome by the owners Kirsty and Simon. We hadn't stayed near Staffin before and so enjoyed the new, rural location. The food was excellent with the restaurant buzzing at dinner.
