There was nothing particularly wrong with Torvaig House but it just did not warrant the price for the accommodation or the food. The room was the smallest we stayed in for our 2 week Scottish holiday. There was nothing "feature" about the bed. There was nowhere to place the suitcases and there was very little space to place our clothes..in... More

This is a hotel aiming at the high end market but missing the mark entirely. I did have high expectations as it is not a cheap place to stay but gave it every chance and it failed every time. Visit starts having stayed at a wonderful self catering cottage and this was meant to be the highlight of our stay... More

Our family of five adults spent 2 nights here at the end of our Scotland trip. Though the weather was acting up, the atmosphere at Toravaig was warm and friendly. The staff works hard to accommodate and the food was excellent. The rooms were well appointed with either pasture or water views. When the ferry was cancelled due to wind,... More

In spite of mostly nice furniture this was a three star hotel that's very expensive. Rooms are small and staff is very junior. Most expensive place we stayed in Scotland and least pleasant. I did have a good Scottish breakfast but wouldn't recommend this hotel.

Toravaig is beautiful, comfortable, and staffed with the best people! Rose-Mary and the rest of the staff are very warm and friendly, happily chatting, or providing any information you might need. The rooms are cozy, elegant, and very comfortable. If you choose to eat dinner at Toravaig house you will be in for a treat. I'm lactose intolerant, and the... More

Toravaig Hotel in Skye was a very ordinary hotel which felt like a 3 star but charged an exorbitant price. For £310 for B&B we had high expectations which were not met. Basic, small bathroom. Dated decor and no real view. Breakfast was greasy and overly salty. We opted out of the dinner package because at £55 each for 3... More

We phoned to ask for a superior room with a sea view which was more expensive . When we arrived we were welcomed by a very pleasant and welcoming lady and a young man. The young man showed us to our room.. The room was extremely small.it could only take a double bed, and the smallest bedside tables in the... More

Lovely hotel in gorgeous surroundings. We instantly felt like part of the family. The staff were all so friendly, courteous and helpful at all hours. The food certainly lived up to its reputation. The best part of our trip was the day of sailing with Ken and Anne so highly recommend planning that ad part of our trip - worth... More

Room was fine if a little small, staff were charming, chap who appeared to be a " locum" manager from another hotel was amazing, seemed to do everything, helpful, nothing too much trouble. The food though was dire. A la carte menu with four choices not available so set menu with only two choices. Nothing seemed to be freshly prepared,... More

without swimming pool, guy room, big reception hall, but I could experienced five stars food, services, and environment. it is one of the best hotel I ever had. I had my dark beer in the lounge first, a tiny room but relaxing, and had a fine dinning in the next room.
