It was three years ago when we visited the Toravaig House Hotel. It was our family summer vacation. The room was lovely and cozy. I loved the view from our room, best view ever with the green hill and blue sky and the lamps! The breakfast was delightful also did the staff (owners I guess)

Our first visit to Skye and we wanted a small hotel in a country location. We were not disappointed, great location, warm welcome, room excellent and the food was absolutely first class. When we come back to Skye it most certainly will be to this hotel

On arrival at Toravaig you feel you are in a different world, so relaxing, we were very well looked after, nice room with a view over the sea. Breakfast was very good nothing is a problem to the staff, we had dinner on one of our nights there and it was lovely, can recommend the lamb if you are lucky... More

Hotel was very comfortable albeit pricey. We loved that they had laundry since we on our second week of our trip however was a bit shocked at the price of 75 pounds. Our tour company picked the location and we would have preferred being closer to Portree or even Broadford or Skeabost. Upon check-in we wanted to see the Fairy... More

Bought a one night deal for a stay here from wowcher, £99 for bed, breakfast and a glass of prosecco on arrival (no glass of prosecco ever offered I have to say) when I called to book I was asked if I would like to pay a £20 supplement for a sea view room. I paid the supplement, which was... More

Our first night's stay on Skye on arrival from Mallaig. We were made most welcome on arrival, and indeed throughout. The room was clean and comfortable, with excellent facilities, if a little on the small side. Both dinner and breakfast were of a high standard and the wine list excellent. This was one of many places we stayed on our... More

We stayed for a couple of nights during a visit to Skye. Toravaig is well situated for the ferry from Mallaig. We had a small double room which was the only room available when we booked. It lived up to its description of being small, though it was well planned to accommodate everything. The only complaint we had that it... More

We spent two nights at Toravaig House and totally enjoyed our stay. The room was small, but the bed was cozy and the bathroom was modern. The staff was so warm and friendly, and yet very professional. Breakfast was quite good each morning. Justin runs an incredible small hotel making sure that your needs are met. He also made great... Great experience for us in Skye Island! My partner and I stayed the night of 7 to 8 August and was an absolutely recommended experience. Excellent treatment and quality of service. The dinner menu as well as tasting fantastic impressive range of Scotch Whisky. Best regards for the team! Gemma y Jamie.

We were moved to this hotel against our will as it was farther from the parts of Skye we wanted to explore. However, the property is a small very, very nice hotel with an excellent staff. Justin, the manager, was incredibly welcoming and helpful for us as we had not been to the Isle of Skye before.
