We found an outstanding deal through one of the many referral websites for a trip in February to the Duisdale. Having never been up to Skye, and thought it would a great trip due to being off season and no tourists. Skye itself is a wonderful place, and with horrific weather, we certainly had the isle to ourselves! To the... More

Stayed one night at this fabulous hotel and thought that every aspect of our experience was 5 star from friendly reception welcom, show around hotel while taking cases to our room. The room (no 2) was newly refurbished and very modern in decor, a few small issues however in the height of the bath made access difficult and dangerous, mirror... More

There are so many things that DH did well, that it could easily have been a 5* review. But they miss on so many of the little things. The staff seem to think they are in a super fancy hotel and condescend almost unfailingly. Why? There is no reason. We made dinner reservations ahead of time, came down for our... More

Our price was quite a bit more than online quotes. One night cost a month's mortgage for me. No special amenities; room with rattling Windows (I shimmed) and view of a gravel lot. Not enough parking, and a large sign by the establishment absolving owners of any liabilities to the cars parked in their area. The bath, though modern and... More

I have just stayed in all 3 of 'Sonus Hospitality ' Skye hotels, Toravaig, Skeabost and now Duisdale! All fabulous. Duisdale has a fabulous location and you have to catch sunrise, amazing pictures. The rooms are super, comfortable and spotlessly clean, modern yet traditional with 4 poster beds in many rooms. The food is fantastic, if it's on the menu,... More

To start the bar had an amazing selection of Scottish Gins. Converting me to some new and lovely ones I had to bring home. The food was fresh beautifully presented. I adored our waiter Allister, very personable and knowledgeable about food and drinks. We did not give ourselves enough time on Skye 2-3 days would have been better.

We stayed the first night in the Sea view Four poster room (no. 2) and the room was lovely, bathroom stunning, good shampoo & conditioner etc. Watch out for drink prices, one small glass of red cost a swift £12. Mini bar drinks and bar prices are really ramped up. We dined in the Chart Room, from the a la... More

We stayed 4 nights and found the location to be great. The island is small enough where everything is within reach. The room was very nice with a euro style bath..clean and sleek! The owners and staff were very helpful and hard working. The best part was the restaurant. We ate there every night!! Everything we had was incredible as... More

Room was clean - toiletries were very nice. Room had a tub which was a treat after hiking in the rain for the day. The service was a bit hit and miss - the breakfast blech. After eating breakfast in the restaurant we were pleased that we didnt book the very expensive dinner the night before as it was clear... More
