We are just back from the Skeabost Hotel. What a lovely place and wonderful attentive staff. On our arrival we were met by Fiona. What a lovely friendly engaging lady. We were given a guided tour on our arrival. We have never experienced such a warm welcome no matter where we have stayed. The hotel is first class with the...

I recently dined with a friend at the newly refurbished Skeabost Hotel, just outside of Portree on the Isle of Skye. The ambience and decor in the dining room was superb and it was a great tribute to the place that there were approximately 30 other guests eating on that particular night. Midweek in February that is quite something in...

This is a very welcoming hotel. We were given drinks by the roaring fire and fed delicious food. The staff were flexible - we could eat anything off the menu (even just a starter) and the food was exceptional. Breakfast was a pleasure too as you would expect. And there was a large choice of drinks including local gins and...

Stayed here for one night on a business trip. Booked a petite double was informed the hotel was very quiet and I received a free upgrade to the McDonald Suite. Room was stunning only fault would be bathroom is slightly dated. I ate my evening meal in the restaurant and was not disappointed, freshest tasting fish and chips I've ever...

We were only at Skeabost for 1 night, but found it very comfortable. We didn't actually stay in the main building but in some new accommodation just outside, we were the second lot of people to stay in the new accommodation. The lady on reception Fiona was very lovely and extremely helpful, sharing lots of knowledge on the hotel. We...

We have just returned from three nights staying at this lovely hotel. The hotel has such a relaxing quality it should be bottled and available on prescription! The staff are truly some of the friendliest people I have encountered in a hotel, nothing is too much trouble. The atmosphere in all the public areas was just perfect. Our room was...

We had a very pleasant meal at the Skeabost on a wet and cold night. Drinks by the open fire were very welcome. Dining room is comfortable and the soup was lovely, as was the steak. Staff were professional. Serves are adequate, but not huge. Would be nice for lunch on a sunny day.
