My first visit to the Isle of Skye.Drove Lottie Landrover all the way from Ludlow and over the border into Scotland.Chose to revisit Rannoch Moor and Glen Coe and both were as awe inspiring as before. Met a piper piping atop a mountain overlooking Loch Garry who recommended that we take the turntable ferry over the sea to Skye at... More

Very comfortable family-run hotel. Craig is the chef and his food is amazing! It is fresh, inventive, beautifully presented, and delicious! The hotel was built in 1871 and is very attractive. My room had a bit of a sea view and was extremely comfortable. The public spaces are very nice with big windows looking out to the water, which is... More

Gorgeous room, food of the highest quality. See food caught the same morning, we watched it come in! Location to die for and hosts were born to do this. Great atmosphere in the bar in the evening, and lovely bottle of wine after a long days walking in breathtaking scenery.

We loved everything about this place. Comfortable room with a view of the water, friendly people, excellent food. We arrived at the end of a long day of driving, and were happy to stay put for dinner, which was cooked by the owner, Craig. After a bit of puttering around the shoreline picking up shells and taking photos of the... More

After a few nights camping on Skye we stayed at Sconser Lodge for one night. Everything about this place is great, large comfortable rooms with decent bathrooms, free Wifi, stunning loch views, ample parking, delicious home cooked food and service with a smile.

We stayed at the Sconser with 3 other couples and our guide while touring Skye...we loved the quiet setting and the old inn atmosphere. The food was perfection with a set menu as well as daily specials. Be sure to indulge in the desserts...a highlight! Norrie, the "front of the house man" is a treasure...a quick Scottish wit and lovely... More

This was our third time to the hotel and this time travelled with family members who had not been there before so I was hoping that it would live up to the high reputation that I had built it up to - it did! Rooms are comfortable, homely - in a good way and the decor suits the location. The... More
