We stayed at the Sconser with 3 other couples and our guide while touring Skye...we loved the quiet setting and the old inn atmosphere. The food was perfection with a set menu as well as daily specials. Be sure to indulge in the desserts...a highlight! Norrie, the "front of the house man" is a treasure...a quick Scottish wit and lovely... More

We arrived a the beautiful setting as the local sheep were trotting their way along the beach, fabulous views across the water to rassay island.Craig the owner was welcoming and we settled into our very large and comfortable room before eating a superb home cooked meal with great beer and wine. Norrie our genial waiter was efficient, calm and unhurried and... More

This was our third time to the hotel and this time travelled with family members who had not been there before so I was hoping that it would live up to the high reputation that I had built it up to - it did! Rooms are comfortable, homely - in a good way and the decor suits the location. The... More

We had stayed here once before and found it as good or better than our previous stay. Our group arrived very wet and tired after motorcycling through a drenching Scottish rain. They got us in efficiently and there was a fire going to warm us up. Our room was spacious enough to allow drying of all the wet riding gear.... More

We really enjoyed out stay at the Sconcer lodge. They work hard to make your stay as comfortable and peaceful as possible. The owners and staff were all very friendly and accommodating. The house sits right on the water and offers beautiful views. The midges can be a bit aggressive on days with no wind. Parking is easy. And access... More

My wife and i while holidaying on the Isle Of Skye booked to have dinner at the Sconser Lodge Hotel as the reviews were excellent and we could not justify the cost of eating at the much hyped Three Chimneys. We were not disappointed, from the moment we arrived we were made to feel very welcome, there was a short delay as... More

We had 4 fantastic days here helped by stunning Skye weather & Craig's wonderful cooking. The scallops are simply the best we've ever had and the food generally was very good, so much so that we didn't bother going anywhere else in the evenings. The rooms are comfortable, the ambience warm and friendly fronted by the inimitable Norrie. We plan... More

My Mum and I stayed here for 2 nights at end of May / beginning of June and had a great stay! The hosts Craig, Lisa and Norrie were incredibly welcoming and couldn't have been more helpful. Our room was clean and comfortable, the only slight drawback that as a very old building there is no lift and so access... More

We stayed here for three nights in May. The weather was perfect which I'm sure isn't the norm. The view from the lodge is breathtaking but that's most of Skye. The lodge is in a great location. It's not too far of a drive to the other towns and attractions. The people who own and work at the lodge were... More

Small privately owned 8-bedroom hotel owned by Craig & Lisa McMath. Stunning lochside position, beautiful views from most bedrooms, adjacent to picturesque 9-hole golf course. Outstanding limited but varied dinner menu, including tasty seafood platter with crab & oysters. Good Scottish breakfast served in panelled dining room. Ample car parking. At £120 B&B single occupancy, quite expensive but worth it.... More
