We had a wigwam for two nights. When we arrived, we had to call Theresa for the check-in. I think we had to wait 15 minutes. Our wigwam was cosy and there was a heater in it. There was a lot of rain and wind on our first night, so the heater was more than welcome. We could use the... More

5 of us stayed at the Bothy at the rear of the bunkhouse on a wet September night. You can fit 6 in at a squash to be honest. It is warm and dry. The shower is small but functional. The kitchen is adequate for a basic cook up. The bunkhouse looks a better bet than the Bothy to be... More

The 'But&ben' (two roomed cottage) is a comfortable and practical base for exploring Skye. Very reasonable rates. Situated in a quiet corner of the island, away from the bustle of the east coast (Skye gets busy in the high season). A five minute walk to the Taigh Ailean Hotel which has a good, friendly restaurant and bar.

Just back from an impromptu visit to Skye where we hadn't booked anywhere to stay, after driving about for a bit looking for somewhere with vacancies (most places were full) thankfully Billy and Theresa had room for us and we ended up staying for 2 nights. They made us feel so welcome and the facilities on site were really good... More

This is such a beautiful place! The bunks are comfortable and the rooms are clean. The kitchen is so welcoming - it has everything you need and the dining area very cosy - a 'home away from home'. Theresa and Billy can't do enough for you and they even gave us a lift to The Old Inn on the Saturday... More

Clean rooms and bedding provided. The lounge, dining area and kitchen were perfect and well equipped. The toilets and showers were basic and could do with some modernising but were fit for purpose. Managers Theresa and Billy were cheerful, chatty, and we had a good laugh. I'd certainly stay again.

We visited Croft in Summer 2016. We stayed in a wigwam which was very quiet quaint. It was comfortable inside with a kettle, fridge and microwave. It also has the most the enormous expandable bed which was massive for two and is created out of the sitting area. We had access to the Croft bunkhouse kitchen which was very well... More

The landlord isn't trustworthy. First, we asked her about her cancelation policy (we booked well in advance), although she answered all our emails, she never answered this particular question, even when we asked her three times. Second, the place wasn't very clean, especially the kitchen. The toilet splashed out a little bit each time you flushed it, so you needed... More

This place is all you need when visiting Skye, we stayed in the bothy beag which was a welcomed bit of comfort after 3 days camping, ideal if you prefer your own space and privacy, you have your own shower room and toilet aswell as a fully equipped kitchen, We were allowed a look at the bunkhouse and a wigwam... We stayed there for two nights. The wigwam was cosy and had the basic facilities. We were given sleeping bags as we didn't have our own but there was no pillow or pillow cases. The communal shower and toilet was not very clean and could do with modernising. Had to call the owner to check in, not great given the... More
