We stayed there for two nights. The wigwam was cosy and had the basic facilities. We were given sleeping bags as we didn't have our own but there was no pillow or pillow cases. The communal shower and toilet was not very clean and could do with modernising. Had to call the owner to check in, not great given the... More

We came to this cabin after staying in a nice BnB north of Portree and had to pay the price for the next 1 week. This has been the worst accommodation (hostel / BnB/ Hotel) I have stayed in UK and I will never suggest or advise anyone to stay here (better pay 10-20£ more and get a good night... More

After primarily staying in hostels, we chose to stay at the But and Ben and it was quite comfortable. It was remote but closely situated to Talisker Distillery and the fairy pools, which you can hike around in the summer evening. There was no internet which made some planning hard, but it nice to have a living room and kitchen;... More

I had spent more than a month hostelling and camping in scotland when I encountered this place, and I can say that its the best place Ive been to. Ive met many very friendly people during my trip but Theresa was outstanding. The place itself is perfect if you want cozy shelter with a great kitchen (the best) and living... More

We really enjoyed our stay in the Bothy Beag unit. It was fully self contained and as a family for we found it had everything we needed for the price of a typical hostel - great value. It was spotlessly clean and the kitchen had everything you need to self cater. There are two pubs close by. It is a... More

Wonderful warm welcome from Theresa. We stayed in Beag Bothy and loved it. Had everything we needed, very warm and cosy. Had our own bathroom as well. All amenities in the kitchen including a fridge. Very quiet.

This is the first time I have written on trip advisor but in this case it is necessary. We stayed at The Croft bunkhouse which although it was quite run down was perfect for our needs. We were a group of 4 families and had booked out the whole bunkhouse to ensure our privacy. We’d chosen the accommodation because it... More

We stayed here for 4 nights over easter in a Wigwam. A family of 4 with children aged 10 and 12. There is enough room for everyone to sleep comfortably and we had the use of their bothy to cook, have a shower and use the toilet. There is also a fridge and tea making facilities in the wigwam as... More

We stayed here for 2 nights this week whilst touring Skye. We received a warm welcome when we arrived and were shown around the facilities available. The wigwams are a great size for 2 people and have everything you need for a comfy stay. It's unbelievable how warm they get with their own heater even when it's gale force outside!... More

Stayed for a week in August, my partner and I stayed in the Cabin and my boys mixed it up in a Wigwam and camped in the grounds. The owner Theresa went out of her way to look after us. The rooms, kitchen and bathrooms were clean and the facilities excellent. As for the location, well the views all around... More
