Stopped here for food a couple of times as being late in the season a lot of local places had shut other than the more expensive restaurants. Menu not very extensive and didn't change all week so ended up eating the same dish twice! Certainly couldn't fault the food, it was fresh and cooked to order and prices weren't too...

Very shabby on the outside, looking in didn't look much better(washing machine in doorway and very saggy worn sofa)When we tried to enter got told hotel didn't open until 630pm and to have a drink down stairs in the bar.Decided against it.Nothing like it depicts in the advert.

The review if for the restaurant on the ground floor of the hotel. We stopped in for lunch on our way to Dunvegan Castle. I think we were served in the bar as opposed to the actual restaurant which appeared to be across the entrance area. I ordered the soup of the day (lentil) and a sandwich. It took quite...

My husband and I popped in here for a meal whilst staying at the excellent Tables Guest House opposite. There were only 2 other couples in the hotel who were waiting for their food to arrive. There were 2 members of staff at the bar, neither of whom seemed particularly interested in taking our drinks order. We got there at...

We booked dinner here at 7pm on a weekday night- after being told rudely that we must book as the place got busy- by a member of staff who looked horrified to have to show us a menu. When we arrive that evening at around 6:45 the staff basically ignored us and stood around the bar- even though there was...

Had dinner here. The food wasn't terrible - just average, but the service and overall upkeep of the venue was very poor. Plus point was that the food was freshly prepared but the service from the staff was shocking. Not rude. But they acted like they couldn't care less. Food plonked on plate and then left us alone. No asking...

The staff and food was amazing. We were able to get a reservation for dinner and we were not disappointed!! The food was amazing and the staff was friendly! The manager gave us suggestions of locations to visit and the history of the area!

Very unwelcoming looking place and in much need of a makeover. Snooker table felt held together with tape, you not only stick to the carpet when you walk but also to the chairs. However it's the only pub/bar in Dunvegan so not much choice but to try it for yourselves if you've got a good sense of humour.

Walked along here from the campsite looking for dinner and a drink. Ordered drinks first as we didn't want to eat too early. Glad we hadn't ordered food when we saw the service. Staff were slumped on bar, chatting to each other and made it look like a hard effort to serve the few customers they had. Finished our drinks...

This property has six rooms including one family room with a double and two twin beds. It sits next to a loch in the village of Dunvegan and has nice views -- three of the rooms have views of the water. The building is older and dated looking, with smallish but clean rooms. There is no elevator and all of...
