Just spent three great nights at Tigh an Dochais. The property is very modern; near restaurants and shops. Rooms are clean and comfortable with amazing views of the water. Breakfast was delicious; cooked to order. We we even given small bags every morning to takeaway homemade muffins! There is also a selection of teas/coffees and a mini fridge available to... More

The first time we've stayed here, it won't be the last. We stayed for 2 nights on the way home from Sheildaig. we arrived way too early to check in, but Neil very kindly let us in anyway. The rooms are fantastic, very comfortable, a big bathroom with a brilliant shower, you've also got great views from the glass doors... More

This B&B is beautiful, cozy and clean. The views from your appointed room are like a fairy tale as they really capture the beauty of Skye. The location is perfect as there are coffee shops and a fairly large supermarket within walking distance. It is also very close to many of the beautiful sights in Skye. The owners are very... More

This was our first stopover of a week's visit to Skye and Harris. We stayed for 2 nights. I have to say the whole experience was outstanding, helped by fantastic weather, and lived up to the details of earlier reviews. I particularly liked the concept of a modern B&B on the shore line. The building has a very contemporary feel.... More

Totally loved Tigh an Dochais. The contemporary building sits right on the edge of the sea and you have a floor to ceiling view from the glass sliding doors in your bedroom which are situated on the lower floor. When you enter the property, you go into the guest lounge/breakfast area which is bright and spacious with a wood burning... More

I can't say enough good things about this architectural gem - it's all wood and glass and steel. Our room (and I believe every room in the hotel) has an outstanding floor to ceiling view of the bay right behind the backyard and a glorious view from the shower as well. The owner cooked us a delicious dinner served in... More

Having been before we knew what to expect. Again we were not disappointed with this beautifully situated and superbly run bed and breakfast. It's a travesty to call Tigh an Dochas a B & B. The property is architect designed and purpose built with floor to ceiling windows in the bedrooms and the lounge area providing lovely views of the... More

It was a great place. Definitely worth a 5 star review . Breakfasts were amazing. Large communal table made for a most sociable time. Bedrooms and the view from the decking immediately outside were just wonderful. A fridge in the hall meant we could buy bits and pieces with no problem.

Modern, clean designed B&B with a million dollar view across the bay. The breakfast was outstanding with home made bread, muffin, porridge and perfectly cooked scrambled egg. On the second night, we had dinner at Tigh an Dochais. We found the dining option very good value and of restaurant standard. Neil served us locally sourced venison fillet/pesto/toasted almond as starter,... More

Neil has built a wonderful stylish modern place right in Broadford bay. To see the northern lights one night, all we had to do was pull the curtains and step through the panorama windows onto the wooden deck wth the full frontal of the bay. Rooms and bathrooms all perfect. Dining / breakfast room / lounge are out of this... More
