Our party of five enjoyed a very comfortable stay, with a most friendly and helpful host. An excellent dinner, and a very good early breakfast so that we could catch the ferry. The visit was too short this time, so we will have to come again.

This hotel was recently renovated in its lobby, and the rooms are very up to date. Several reviewers have complained about musty conditions but the carpets and bathrooms were in great shape. The owner could not have been more informative and helpful during our stay.

I am unable to review this hotel and its facilities as I was unable to book there. I started an e-mail correspondence directly with this hotel, and all went well untill I was asked to supply my Card Details, as their web-site offers no such facility, I was expected to do so over an open e-Mail. Clearly no one in... More

Stopped off for dinner at the Ardvasar hotel. Excellent food, waiters and waitresses were welcoming and attentive however the manager was rather rude to his staff. On a number of occasions he shouted at them from across the room and gave one of them a telling off in front of everyone in the restaurants. We felt sorry for the staff... More

Very pleasant hotel in a small village, 10 minute walking distance from the Armadale ferry terminal. Good food, good beer and a very good range of whiskies. Excellent hospitality. Book the sea view if you can. Check out the Clan Donald Centre a short drive away for beautiful gardens and views.

Stayed here with my sister and niece in May. Loved how quaint and pastoral the location is...across the road from a lovely view of the beach and water. Walking distance to small town and ferry. After staying in a lot of in-home B&Bs - very happy to have an on-site pub and restaurant. We took a day trip to the... More

When we arrived we did not expect anything. Especially not because of the old fashioned (cosy) looks of the place. But the food was absolutely lovely and had a level that you really don't expect in a bar. We would have believed it when there was a star-chef in the kitchen. The hosts were also very kind and we had... More

The Ardvasar Hotel was near to the B&B we were staying at so we went for dinner. The place was friendly, but a bit tired looking. The menu was quite limited but much of it locally sourced. We thought it looked a touch expensive for the main courses (dishes started at £16.50 - a lot for pub food), but held... More

Excellent hotel and restaurant. Tucked away in south-west corner of Skye, near the Kyle of Lochalsh ferry. WiFi hit-or-miss. Room well presented and very good food. We went over to Skye as a side trip while driving NC500
