3rd time staying here. Brilliant. Stayed in a mobile home but offers camping & caravaning. 3 new glam ping timber frame homes available too. Very central campsite, very friendly and well looked after.

Stayed for 2 nights in the Shepherds Huts with another couple, we booked Carla's & Rose's huts. The owner, Angus, was there to meet us on arrival and was very helpful, friendly and informative throughout our stay. The huts are very well provisioned, with fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster, some dishes and cutlery then little extras like a basin for your... More

We went in 18 th June for 2 nights in Carla's hut and absolutely loved it. It rained a fair bit at night but that just added the beauty. The campsite is really well set out peaceful quiet just perfect in a perfect location . Very well kept and just lovely. Really helpful owner. We absolutely loved it. The isle... More

This place is OK for an overnight stay if you need site facilities but the motor home pitches have no character and no real views. It is an experience akin to staying on any car park, the pitches are also quite closely spaced thus increasing the "car park" experience.

Beautiful setting with a small clean river running through it with fish swimming up and down...showers a fridge if u need it place to charge your phone and wifi but a bit limited all you need really. Let me park my bike beside my tent which was cool. A walk into town about 1.5 miles with beautiful scenery on the... More

Disappointing site if visiting in camper van, coarse hard core surface akin to lorry park. Ok for overnight stop albeit it clean and tidy but hardly caters for the masses one shower one toilet. Booked for two nights decided one was enough refund was not forthcoming. Some camper vans were directly opposite the waste emptying facilities, one lady was actually eating... More

Good location for driving in to Tobermory, this is a family run small site that is being extended. Good pitches for camping, touring caravans and statics next to a small stream. There's a good communal room for campers. Everything was clean BUT there are very few facilities and in high season there'd be queues. 1 loo, 1 washbasin and 1... More

Has clean basics for a campsite - toilet, showers, drinking water. Lovely setting for tents with the river running past the field. Owner couldn't be more helpful. Also has Wi-Fi access which is reasonable in some parts of the tent area. Nice touch is the communal tent cooking/eating shelter with some plugs to charge phones, etc and a kettle. There... More

Staff were friendly, campsite well equipped and clean. Great outdoor eating area built so it is free from midges!! Good idea for campers if weather wet or cold. Fitted with a kettle and power points. Fresh eggs available. Quiet and peaceful when we visited in April 2016.

Static caravans on site are immaculately kept. 20 minute walk from Tob ( Balamory) 30 minute drive from Calgary Bay probably one of the most stunning places ever! 30 minute drive from Craignure(ferry)
