We stayed 2 nights and because we booked very late it was the only dog friendly hotel available. It is quite far from Tobermory but still in a nice location not too far from lovely beaches. Our small well behaved dog was allowed in the bar but we were charged £25 for her stay which is the most expensive we have ever paid. Most are either free or £10. We took her own bed and she never jumps on the furniture better behaved then children so this fee was over priced. The staff were lovely especially the lady behind the bar nothing on much trouble. Our room was the family room as the only one available but the double bed is very small and squeaked every time you move. The hot water takes some time to heat up in the bathroom. But the food was great breakfast and dinner and we would return if they had a larger bed available.

Well room 7 was fabulous. Huge and comfortable- there were only 2 of us but it was meant for a family of 5 - there would have been plenty of space for 5! Comfy bed and nice and warm. Tight menu in restaurant due to Covid but everything we ordered was delicious and large portions. The sticky toffee pudding is not to be missed and the lobster was much better than at the Mishnish. At the moment the bar is used for guests eating and the light is a bit grey - I saw a few plug sockets and I would suggest a couple of tall lamps to give it a warmer cosier ‘dining’ feel - it’s a lovely bar but the lighting doesn’t do it justice. Hosts were lovely and especially enjoyed chatting to the lady behind the bar last night who entertained us with tales of her lockdown vegetable growing and brought me a bowl of home grown physalis- very impressive!! Would definitely recommend this lovely hotel. And while on Mull make sure you go snorkelling with Basking Shark!!

Great little pub/hotel in great spot on great island. Fabulous room I was not expecting something so slick from such a small place. Great lounge (unused because it didn't rain). Congenial hosts, helpful staff. Hebridean hospitality at its best.

We have just come back from staying here, I must say even though its a tough time how well they are doing everything.the hotel is lovely and homely and nothing is too much trouble. If you want to ask where to visit on the island they will tell you places you wouldn't think of. The menu is limited at the moment but the food is excellent HAVE THE LOBSTER! breakfast is first class. Would deffo visit here again. THANK YOU
