We tried to book a table for a party of six but were advised that they don't take bookings for parties unless it's for a minimum of 8 people. The barmaid did say to pop in early evening as they get busy for dinner from 7pm onwards. Fair enough so far. We did as we were asked and arrived about... More

We are just back from a brilliant long weekend stay at the Craignure Inn. Friendly and relaxed staff made us very welcome and looked after us extremely well all weekend. The weather (sadly) was dreary, but the atmosphere was anything but and I can happily recommend this little hotel to anyone (unless you are looking for pretentious or formal, which... More

If I ever went back here I would take some ear protectors with me.We went on a Friday and Saturday early evening and it was really rowdy.Too busy for food on the first night but when we had some on the Saturday it seemed a bit on the pricey side for what you got.

We were staying at a campsite nearby and went in here for a couple of drinks and an evening meal, the pub is a traditional old welcoming pub, the staff were very welcoming the drinks and food were good, there was a good selection of traditional pub food, which was very good and arrived quickly.

No doubt could do with a bit of attention but redeemed by excellent food and great staff. Accommodation was spacious and comfortable, not modern and squeaky clean but had everything required. Breakfast was great, enormous portions. We had a enjoyable stay, facilitated by all the friendly and highly efficient staff.

The Craignure Inn has accommodation, a bar and dining areas. Accommodation was adequate but no more than that. Food was decent pub fayre albeit service was a bit on the slow side. Where the Inn excelled was in the quality of its bar staff who worked very well under pressure and kept up a constant stream of banter.

Called for a lunch time snack, which we had in the 'restaurant'. The place could do with quite a lot of tlc, the windows had accumulations of dead midges and a few live ones. The bar area is 'interesting' and reminds one of an Inn that you might see in a tv programme set 200 years ago. Having said all... More

I can;'t help thinking that the Inn could do so much more to attract visitors. We where staying in the campsite opposite (brilliant) and popped in later after noon for a pint after a long walk. We were the only ones in there and had to wait 15 minutes before someone turned up to serve. Despite knocking and calling out,... More

We have visited this pub/restaurant a few times and always had a decent meal. Whilst it is always busy and friendly - the staff are lovely - we were disappointed with our £18 steaks! There were cooked perfectly - medium rare but a tad cold on arrival. We didn't ask for them re heating as it really was busy, but... More

We visted as the place was advertised as dog friendly. This is true, but dogs are only allowed in the bar area, where children aren't. This meant we ended up as a family of 4 sharing our dinner outside with the midges. No one member of staff asked if we were OK, maybe this was because the locals seemed to... More
