Two couple spent two nights here in July 2015. It was during festival week, so that may explain the cost and the areas hotels all filled. Actually, we ended here after an earlier booking "lost" our arrangement. We were glad to get it.
I try to be fair in my reviews so I will start with the positives. Immaculately clean and well organised b & b. Friendly owners. Comfortable room and modern bathroom. Good parking and Wi-Fi. Nice breakfast pre-ordered the night before.

Due to a tight schedule we could only stay one night at this beautiful place. Our 7am ferry the following morning meant we also missed breakfast but Alison had prepared lunch packs for us all to take on our journey as we left.
There's nothing wrong with Braighe House except the price. It is a slightly above average B and B but fancies itself as superior and charges top end. The breakfast has industrial elements, in the bread and sausages, rather than home made features, although the porridge...More
