Went for lunch in the bar area. Pleasant surroundings & very friendly & welcoming staff. Excellent menu, though not particularly cheap. However standard & presentation of food was very good. Thoroughly enjoyed lunch & would recommend a visit.

We stayed overnight on our way to and back from Lochinver. Extremely friendly yet professional, nothing too much trouble. Had the best Coeliac friendly meals in a long time including fish and chips. The desserts cannot be equalled, scrumptious. Thank you Alice and staff.

Excellent family lunch which we all enjoyed. With prior warning, coped admirably with two people with multiple food allergies. Friendly efficient service from the staff. Can recommend the Cullen skink, steak marinated in treacle and the chocolate dessert washed down with a bottle of Hoolay Dooley red.

We went with a group of 20 to this charming Inn for a traditional Scottish pub lunch. The food was delicious, the service attentive and fast and everyone enjoyed their menu selections. Our group tried everything from fish and chips, to burgers to the daily charcuterie and cheese plate -- all of it was yummy. The setting at the Inn... More

I took my Australian visitors for Sunday lunch today, one of whom is a retired chef. They were very impressed by the menu (one of the best they have seen) and the food lived up to its promises. The waitress (young girl with glasses - sorry I can't remember your name!) spoke knowledgeably about the menu and could describe how... More

Arrived just after mid day, only one other couple with children waiting in room. Drinks orders taken, took 10mins to arrive, then food order was taken. We only ordered one course each, the food took forty minutes to come with no explanation! just as well we weren't in a hurry. The staff were pleasant. The food when it arrived was... More

While staying in Killearn, we wanted to eat at their downtown pub. Since it was booked, they recommended the Inn that was twenty minutes away and were kind enough to call ahead for us. What a charming and stately roadside upscale pub and pleasantly formal dining room. The cod entry, garanished with mussels and oysters, in an outstanding presentation was... More
