Set in beautiful grounds and beautiful castle but areas of hotel could do with updating. Room decor was very “70s” Carpet marked all over from boards underneath. Varnished shelf and toothbrush holder in bathroom peeling. Evening meal was beautiful Breakfast choice was minimal

Rather stylish hotel in 14th century castle. Set in beautiful grounds in peaceful valley. Dinner last night was excellent, as was breakfast this morning. Just watch out for stable rooms. They are rather small and desperately need a makeover. But overall great.

Btl of wine in the restaurant was £18 and a pint of lager was about £4.00. Average hotel prices.We had our own drink for the Hotel room.
