Booking was easy, over the telephone a few days before arrival. We were in Biggar just for the one night and found the hotel easily, right in the centre of the town with parking outside. Enjoyed lunch here when visiting Biggar recently. Highlight was the ice cream sundae for dessert, which seemed to be a bit of a specialty and one of the best that I've ever had. Pleasant and helpful staff too.

Went for lunch here having read some decent reviews and were not dissapointed menu was extensive and reasonable staff were cheerful and attentive and food arrived quickly and was hot and tasty STEAK PIE was chock full of lovely big chunks of meat .Will definitely be back again sometime

3 older cyclist stayed the night in August. Very welcoming staff in bar/ restaurant. Looked after our bikes. Served a lovely meal and were very engaging. rooms well appointed and clean. Hot water and TV. All good

Just returned from a second visit to this hotel ,not disappointed ,super staff ,great menu and excellent food ,rooms comfortable . This hotel is a good base for exploring the Borders and Edinburgh , good bus service just outside the door , would definitely recommend
