My wife and I went on a road trip and this was one of our stops—a last-minute one, and we were grateful that we were accommodated. The location was beautiful, with mountains and forest all around; and make sure to check out the stars at night! The house was well kept, and the room was amazing (we stayed in the... More

For 10 years my husband has wanted to take our Mini Cooper convertible on US129 also known as The Tail of the Dragon. This year was the year as we just retired from working over 40 years in the hotel industry. I found Sweet Berries while looking for accommodations near the Dragon. This is only 10 miles from the start... More

My wife and I have been to a half dozen B&Bs before and have always enjoyed them. However, Sweetberries was a cut above the others. The room was great and there were ample common areas both inside and on the deck and porch. We did not walk the grounds although they looked inviting and we will next time. However, our... More

We've just finished our second visit to Sweetberries. Louise and Darrell are the perfect hosts making us feel very comfortable and right at home. Plus Louise can whip up a mean breakfast. Each day something different and delicious. Darrell put us on to some great places to see while we stayed with them. Our king room had an outside deck... More

This is our second stay at Sweetberries and truly will not be the last! Darrell and Louise are the consummate hosts. Breakfast is not served - it's presented. They are works of art that have to be photographed before you dig in. The rooms are beautiful. The little touches throughout the house add warmth and character. It sits up high... More

We stumbled upon this diamond in the ruff last year, and Darrell and Louise are by far the nicest, most hospitable people I have ever met. There wasn't a single thing to complain about! Louise and Darrell, the owners made us feel at home immediately upon arrival. They were truly delightful and full of happy energy. The bed was the most comfortable I have ever slept in (except my own) and now I think I'll have to replace my pillows now that I've slept at Sweet Berries. We stayed in the "Sweetheart Haven" room,... More
