We spent a long weekend here and didn't want to leave. The setting was absolutely gorgeous and our guesthouse (142) was beautiful. Can't say enough about how attentive the staff was. They are very good at what they do. And I can't even describe how delicious breakfast was each morning. It's a great location just outside smoky mountain national park...

My husband and I spent two beautiful nights at the Butterfly Gap Retreat. Our home, cabin 220 was beautifully situated on the lake. The space was clean, modern and rustically lux. There is something so special about entering your own private world where you are literally unplugged. The breakfast was outstanding and the gratis homemade ice cream made my day!...

What a great experience ! The setting is stunning, a beautiful and secluded natural delight. Our unit, 332, was comfortable and the bathroom was just incredible. They provide amazing breakfasts and the homemade ice cream is divine ! Love this place so much !

July is our anniversary, and we chose to spend it at Butterfly Gap Retreat. I accidentally found it while surfing the web for a cabin in the Wears Valley area of Tennessee. It is located outside of Maryville, TN, which is an area considered the "peaceful side of the Smokys", as opposed to the Sevierville/Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg tourist area. And its...

My husband and I wanted to take a more local trip for our honeymoon and decided on Butterfly Gap based on the excellent reviews we saw. They were more than right! This was perhaps the most tranquil, relaxing place we have ever stayed...just what we needed after the stress of wedding planning! The cabins are as beautiful as they look...

From the moment we rounded the corner and saw the lake through the trees, we felt relaxed and as if we'd entered our own private 900-acre retreat. It was the perfect quiet, beautiful escape from the real world for me and my partner while our kids were away at camp. Each structure on the property is gorgeous and architecturally unique....

We just got back from our fourth stay at Butterfly Gap and ready to go back! Becky and Laura took good care of us and we had a wonderful relaxing weekend. Breakfast was great, caught fish from the lake, caught up on reading and enjoyed all the great scenery. Can't wait to go back!

We absolutely loved staying here for our honeymoon - the staff was incredibly kind, the cabin was beautiful, clean, and had everything we needed! Homemade breakfast each morning was so big and wonderful, we skipped lunch everyday because we were still so full. We bought groceries and made dinner in the cabin every night. I love how a little creek...

My husband and I stayed a long Valentines weekend at BGR and absolutely loved it! Our weekend was just to spend some time together before we welcome our 1st child. We were greeted at the office for check-in with warm smile, then escorted to our guesthouse. Beautiful! We stayed in #134, which was perfect! Wonderfully decorated, nice, clean and comfortable....
