The hotel is only 7 minutes walk from the station and 3 minutes from the beach. The owner and staff were very friendly and accomodating. The food is nicely presented, good quality and really delicious and the menu contained lots of nice things to choose from. It would be nice if you could eat your meal in the Lounge bar... More

Driving around trying to find somewhere for dinner with children and a dog, think this is the only place on Troon! Not disappointed, lovely food and the children could play pool. Very relaxed atmosphere.

I stayed from Monday to Friday last week as a member of a coach party. I paid a little extra as a single person but had a lovely double room. It was spacious and comfortable. The shower was excellent and I had no complaints. There was a problem with WiFi, which is free but was only available near the reception... More

We stayed here for 3 nights for a wedding and some golf. Friendly atmosphere. Two bars. Our room was nice and large with views over towards the sea. Bathroom is fine. Good TV. The breakfast was included and was copious. Staff are very helpful. Not a luxury hotel but a good place to stay at a reasonable price.

Stayed in room 210 for 1 night in September. The room was spacious and clean if a little odd in the way it was set out. It's an old hotel and I get it that you can't really go knocking walls about but the room could probably do with a little fresh paint or wallpaper but that didn't detract from... More

Stayed for about I days. Always found crew to be super friendly and caring. Which covers fact older hotel. Rooms pretty quiet but no Wi-Fi in rooms disappointing. Food was very good and well located to town with 11 minute walk along beach. Overall great crew n owners.

The 'tartan' bar is very nice. Good carpet! The bathroom was very good with good towels. The staff are super friendly and helpful. Close to the station and town centre. I ate in and the food was not that good, but I suppose it depends on your taste. There is no lift, so you may struggle if your bags are... More
