We stayed on a Sunday night at the hotel with dinner and breakfast included. Found the reception staff very welcoming and friendly. Was informed our room was upgraded upon our arrival which was a great surprise. Room was spacious, very clean, cozy &b warm. Hotel has a character, although is rather modern at the same time. Staff was really friendly...

I booked a Sunday overnight stay direct through the hotel website as they were doing a special deal. I was thoroughly impressed with everything. Food was lovely, room was large , staff very welcoming, 2 lounges/bars with roaring coal fires, free newspapers which I could read in peace in the lounge. We will definitely return here .After Mon breakfast, before...

Just back from a 2 night stay in one of the cottages. The cottage was lovely although the sofa bed wasn't the most comfortable to sit on. The restaurant provided exceptional food for the prices they charge, if we stayed locally we would never be out of the place !!

Why is it with a 4 star hotel you have such a sub standard website. You are not able to view a menu!!!!! Awful. We had overseas visitors and were telling them how great a hotel this was. We were trying to show them the menus, but to no avail. There were 18 of us but they decided against it...

Visited here with family. We stayed in 3 cottages, 1 of which had disabled access. Cannot fault the accommodation, really nice & spacious. The disabled access room, number 28 was amazing & made the task of looking after y.mum so much easier. We had a package which included breakfast & dinner. To be honest we weren't expecting too much as...

Lovely traditional looking hotel with sympathetic modern facilities. Friendly efficient check in, beautiful room, massive comfy bed everything spotlessly clean everywhere. Excellent menu well cooked food. Lovely area, nice town with superb views of Arran. Would like to return to both the area and the hotel.

I had a chance to stay in this hotel on the night of 10/11 November 2016. Seems to me that this is an old building (1800s AD), but beautifully maintained. At the entrance beautiful (historical) pictures of various people, along with a show case carrying various beautiful alcohol bottles. The corridors are not too wide, but again well cleaned. Room...

I had to booked last minute as I had to stay in the area one more night and what a lovely surprise lay in store. A lovely old house in fantastic grounds with that nostalgic feel of a bygone age. The room was a good size with good bed, it was well finished with a some nice modern touches. The...
