So we stayed here for 2 nights as part of a Brightwater Shetland and Up-Helly-aa tour. The rooms were nice, surprisingly roomy and the beds quite comfotable, the property was historic and cozy. When we arrived they had a nice warm pet fire in the "Longroom" and a menu of 200+ Malt Whiskys. We had dinner there which was a...

We stayed at Busta to celebrate a family birthday. Dinner, bed and breakfast for five of us in three rooms. The rooms were lovely - my bed was very comfortable , the food was delicious- dinner very good, and breakfast was excellent, but the service was what made our stay exceptional- every single member of staff went out of their...

Very friendly and professional welcome, rooms tastefully and sympathetically decorated. We stayed for dinner, bed and breakfast for a family celebration and the venue was perfect. Excellent food, attentive staff and generally a very warm and friendly welcome. Being pet friendly meant one of our party could also stay with her aging small dog which made such a difference. Highly...

Our room had a lovely view, overlooking the back garden and water. The front desk service was prompt, and the wait-staff in the dining room were very attentive. They were able to accommodate food intolerances, and suggested alternatives. However, at 35BP, the price for dinner (including dessert) was a bit high for the quality of the food on offer. The...

Great stay at Busta House. Staff very friendly & welcoming. Rooms are spacious and the beds are very comfortable. The food is by far the best I've tasted on the island by a long way. Will be back to stay.

If your idea of a hotel has a bar with sports tv, juke box and karaoke on tap then this is not the hotel for you. Busta is a hotel that has excellent rooms of the old style, each individual, each comfortable. There is an excellent bar and restaurant and when you finish your meal there is the Long Room;...

Had dinner at Busta a few weeks ago. Lots to choose from on the menu, hard to decide which dishes to go for. Had a starter, main course and pudding. All perfectly cooked and presentation excellent. Staff and Owners very polite and welcoming.

We stayed in the Trondra Room which had a sea view and very comfy bed. I cannot fault this hotel - staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast included and superb. Dinner superb. A table for dinner should be reserved on a Saturday as it was very busy. Tea and coffee provided in the room plus a bottle of water. The...

We recently celebrated our Shetland wedding with a small intimate dinner and a one night stay at the beautiful and historic Busta House Hotel. It was magical, with a warm welcome and thoughtful service from both the owner and the staff, and our dinner was delicious. A few items that were organized in advance, flowers, taxi for guests etc were...
