Our trip started from Aviemore in sunshine, and ended in Torridon in the precursor to one of the worst summer storms in Scotland for years. But the Torridon Inn provided the perfect safe haven. The Inn is the (much) cheaper and relaxed 'little brother' to the Torridon Hotel, which is next door. But it is welcoming, warm, and friendly -... More

I drove up to Torridon for a few days to get out in to the hills and asked a friendly local where the nearest a pub was, they directed me here. I came in for food and a few pints after a long day climbing. The staff upon my arrival asked if I'd booked, I hadn't but they said don't... More

We are sorry that you did not enjoy your experience. The food is cooked fresh and I am sure if the service had been better for you the food would have tasted that much better. The team did not look after you well by asking you to move table for which I apologise. One mans pub is another mans fancy... More

We have been in the area for 30 years and followed the fate of the place which today is named: The Torridon Inn. It used to be a very warm and welcomening place for locals and visitors alike, but many years ago the mangement decided not to cater for the locals any longer, so now you would find no locals... We stayed here for two nights and really enjoyed the peacefulness and the beauty of the area. Our room was quite spacious, very clean, and nice size bathroom. Even though we stayed at the Inn we could enjoy drinks at the hotel's whiskey bar which has 365 different whiskeys to select from and a knowledgeable bar staff. Definitely would stay... More

For the last 3 nights of our 2 week tour of Scotland we pushed the boat out and booked the Torridon Inn. B&B there cost twice as much as most of our other accommodation, but oh my days it was good. Our gorgeous room was large, tucked under the eaves, with a massive bed, chaise longue, table and chairs, and... More

A good value, simple menu. Food is nicely presented and good quality. Very tasty after a day walking! You don't need to be staying at the inn to eat here. Staff are friendly and welcoming. Definitely worth a visit for a relaxing evening meal. .

Now we were on a bit of a budget for our trip staying in different hotels each night so this was our 'splash out' night as it was a little more expensive than most local B&Bs but not extortionate and well worth every penny. The rooms are fantastic, really spacious, lovely decor and so comfortable. There is a bar/restaurant located... More

In July 2016 we stayed at the Torridon Inn for two nights as we explored Scotland. Our stay was in Room 23, a loft room with plenty of space. We enjoyed visiting with the Australian young men and women who had contracted to work in the bar and restaurant. They gave excellent service, warm smiles, and great conversation. Our breakfast... This is a great place to stay for doing the three classic Torridon ridge traverses, Beinn Alligin, Liathach and Beinn Eighe. We were in room 25, spacious and modern with all facilities, including fast in-room wifi internet. The food is mostly excellent, with imaginative specials. One exception was my venison burger, which was quite dry. There is a large range... More

Travelling around the NC500 in May, we stayed in a pet-friendly room in the Inn for one night. The room was spacious and modern with a huge bed. Parking plentiful. Fantastic views of the Loch and the sister hotel next door. Staff great - very friendly. Dinner and breakfast both good, if standard Inn fare. This was our second stop... More
