We stayed here as part of our trek along the NC 500 and loved it. Get over the faded, slightly downmarket decor and this prettily-situated hotel makes for an excellent, value for money stopover. No TV in the spacious room (with mountain view) but who...More
The location off the hotel is our only reason to stay.
Don't expect much more then that. In the neighborhood you can go for a walk or a beach.
No tv's in the rooms!
The Wi-Fi was bad.
The staff was friendly.
As others have noted, the Dundonnell Hotel is located right on the highway (A832). You will park across the road and carry your bags into the hotel and up the stairs to your room (we did not observe an elevator which could be problematic for...More
We stayed here for 1 night, on route to the ferry at Ullapool. Its a 24 mile trip and takes around 25 minutes. The hotel is in a lovely and remote location. On arrival the staff couldn't have been more welcoming and helpful

Yes we do welcome well behaved dogs, I have two wonderful Labs of my own - we do ask that dogs are treated with a flea/Tick control and that they have been wormed within six months of thier visit to us. We do not allow dogs in our restaurant or eating areas during service and we do not allow dogs on our furniture or bedding. We also remind folk that unless your dog is well trained around sheep and other farm animals that they remain on a lead - finally we ask that owners clear up after their dogs. There are some amazing walks and plenty of open spaces for your loved pets to run and play, its a haven for dogs!

"The rooms at the front look out to the loch, the rooms at the back look out to the mountain - all good views!"
