Was here with group of 24 so breakfast and evening meal were part of our package. Food was excellent, breakfast included a big bowl of fresh berries, not typical in hotel stays. Staff were efficient and friendly. The large lounges were a big plus, comfortable sofas and a place for the group to socialize. A big plus was the live... More

We visited doing the nc500 and found the hotel after a long drive through beautiful scenery. The isolated location is perfect for a break with a walk to the edge of the sea loch great to finish the evening. The room itself was tired but having worked in a large coaching hotel we understand the struggle facing the team who... More

Lovely hotel, staff very knowledgable, friendly and informal. The rooms we had reminded us of the 1980s in a good way. They were clean and neat, which makes the old-fashioned style retro rather than dowdy. The food was great at both dinner and breakfast. They had a good selection of gins (three or four) and whiskies. Wifi was a bit... More

Popped in for some lunch today whilst completing the 500, we both had the fish & chips, loved the chips particularly the fish was a little under done. Good service & looks a nice hotel with great scenery. Very reasonably priced @£9.95 per meal from memory I know with a half pint & a juice it was £24.10.

While on NC500 we stayed at this hotel. Not the most luxurios but good for one night stay. This is opposite to a loch so its amazing when the sun is setting in the afternoon. Food is great. I must tell that if you depend on WiFi this is not the best hotel to be.

I admit, I was a little apprehensive about staying here after reading previous reviews but am so glad I ignored them. Yes, the hotel could be said to be a little old fashioned but think vintage, it is more positive. The staff were exceptionally helpful, attentive and polite. We had our evening meal here and it was delicious - freshly... More

We stayed here for a night while hiking in the area. The hotel has a beautiful setting at the end of an inlet from the ocean. And some outdoor areas you can enjoy the view from. There is a decent pub next door attached to the hotel. The hotel itself is tired and old. Our room appeared to be clean... More

We stopped here for coffee break on route to Aultbea, this a road side hotel and popular as a stop off however it was a staff friendly and helpful hotel from what I saw it looked well run. The hotel is within an isolated area and I do not know what is available to the tourist.

Stayed here overnight We booked a "superior Room" We knew on booking there were no loch view rooms available & as we were arriving fairly late evening & leaving after breakfast we didn't mind.Friendly receptionist & good atmosphere in bar with a local folk group playing live, taking requests & encouraging everyone to join in with the singing. Room was ok... More
