We met with friends at the hotel for an evening meal, yes its up a long track with a few potholes but wow when we pulled up outside the Red front door it was like opening a present couldn't wait to see inside! The log fire was burning nicely we sat and had a drink whilst we waited for our...

A wonderful Birthday treat last Sunday on arriving at Coull House. We had kept a Birthday Voucher for some months just to be able to enjoy the Christmassy atmosphere at the Hotel (vouchers last for 11months). The staff are charming and the Tea for Two was delightful ,really more than expected in every way. We were so impressed we bought...

Stayed as a couple for 2 nights to attend a wedding. Firstly as wedding guests we were given a favourable offer for the room so this sweetened the stay somewhat. Our room was very warm and clean. This was a particularly frosty couple of days and the hotel was warm throughout. Some log burning fires made it particularly attractive. We...

We had a great experience at Coul House. I have been around a bit but I can't remember better food than this. The hotel is lucky to have an excellent chef. The room was comfortable and warm, the well stocked bar has a lovely log fire. The owners and staff were all excellent. Lovely location too, a short drive to...

We had an enjoyable stay at Coul House Hotel. Food and service was very good but for the price we felt that small touches were missing such as bottled water in the bedrooms. It is a bonus that dogs can stay!

The one thing that myself and my partner agree on is our favourite places to dine in Scotland - one being The Witchery in Edinburgh and the other being at Coul House in Contin - all of the others 'don't cut it' compared to these two. We usually visit Coul House when they have a menu change - they never...

My wife and I visited Coul House Hotel for Afternoon Tea last Sunday. What a delight this hotel is, the service was excellent and the tea was most delightful. The purpose of the visit was to celebrate my wife's birthday, as she only wanted a quiet celebration and this was just the right place for that. Although we live fairly...

We had two nights here over a weekend to celebrate a birthday. Our room was large, warm and comfortable, bathroom a little dated but spotless. Food is what I would call hearty - we needed a long walk the next day! But luckily the hotel is well placed for walking, with paths straight from the door. We particularly liked the...

Stayed here before going to Dingwall to buy some cracking tups. What a wonderful place to stay. Excellent from the initial phone call. Chris is a professional and so very nice with it (and being in the business for 27 years, I should know) the hotel is spotless and very well appoionted. Dinner was superb and breakfast set us up...
