The drive to the campsite is on single track roads with passing places. I drove a camper van so there is no need to worry about the road being too narrow. Part of the 5 star raating is for the site of the camp. As you approach, the view over the bay and Summer Islands is breathtaking. I camped during...

As we followed the directions for the campsite I began to wonder if I had gone wrong disastrously wrong with my research. At the end of a long single-track road with beautiful scenery we stumbled across the campsite. Fantastic sea views, brilliant facilities and above all the really friendly, lovely brother and sister, Andrew and Catrina who run the campsite...

Had a few nights during an anniversary trip on the NC500. Well worth the detour. The view from all the pitches is stunning. Good facilities (strong fast wifi), fridges and freezers. You must try the bar/restaurant across the road (owned by the same family). We will be back

Absolutely lovely site. We stayed there for two nights and it was very peaceful and quiet. The ground was good to pitch a tent on and we had a great view of the beach down to the sea. There was a well-maintained block containing great showers which were exceptionally clean every time I went in there; a little washing up...

First time ever driving in this part of Scotland. We did the road trip from Ullapool and although the roads were one track with passing spaces, it was well worth the drive. The scenery is stunning and driving down towards the camp site there was a beautiful view of the summer islands. The site has a lovely little bay ideal...

One of the nicest sites we have been on recently, hot water, showers, place to hide from the midges, clean beach and great views of the summer isles. This one is a bit of a drive off the beaten track but well worth the struggle.

We loved this place despite the weather! The campsite is really well maintained and you have everything you might need. When you arrive you simply choose which pitches you want, set up and walk up the hill to the pub (really close!) to pay. I think you get a sea view from all the pitches but we chose to be...

First trip away in our new van. All I can say is if this is the quality of sites we have nothing to worry about. The site is laid out so every plot has a view of the sea. The utility block was spotless and warm. Showers were hot and easy to use. No owners on site but a quick...

We stayed for one night after the Easter weekend as part of a 10 night trip in our van touring the Scottish Highlands. Our other nights we wild camped elsewhere but this site was perfect for our travel plans and we would definitely stay again and for longer on another occasion. The setting and facilities were outstanding and as the...

Found this site when looking to camp for a Munro bagging few days, rare to find a campsite that opens before Easter,,what a trick some teams are missing. Port a Bhaigh is easy to find, glorious location overlooking the Summer Isles and we were lucky enough to see some wonderful skies and sunsets. With no more than 4-5 vans/tents on...
