Travelers' Choice
Traditional Highland hotel set in stunning scenery on the quieter, south side of Loch Ness. Offering simple rooms with fresh decor, friendly & down to earth customer service and a warm welcome. Our bar meals are freshly prepared using quality local ingredients alongside an excellent selection of whisky, local ales and small batch gins. We are well positioned for exploring the highlands of Scotland or as a start/end point for the North Coast 500 route. On the South Loch Ness trail, the hotel appeals to walkers, cyclists, motorcyclists and those looking for a relaxing break.

A gem in the wilds. Situated in the countryside outside fort Augustus this is a real gem. The food was brilliant and the staff great it’s even dog friendly so we felt very welcome . We had a great Sunday lunch with the best gravy ever and a knowledgeable member of the staff pointed us to a great wine

Hospitality at its best! Lesley, Bella and Team Whitebridge provided exemplary customer service during our stay. The hotel has a great ambience, the beds are very comfortable, the food is great…… what more could you want? We can’t wait to return to this gem.

Dropped in for lunch whilst riding our bikes. We were given a really friendly welcome and we felt instantly at home. The decor is an eclectic mix of music memorabilia and historical knick-knacks. So much to look at and admire. Food and service were perfect, accompanied by great background tunes. Drop in, it's a delightful place

The Whitebridge Hotel was an amazing find, on the road between fort Augustus & Inverness. We were up here to take part in Monster the Loch race, rowing 22 miles on loch Ness. The hotel was a warm & welcoming place with true Scottish hospitality. Nothing was to much trouble for them, The staff were fantastic, the food fantastic, couldn't fault it at all. The locals were also very friendly. We would definitely return and would highly recommend if you're in this area. Thank you Whitebridge Hotel for our stay.

This hotel is a gem. Bella, Lesley and every single staff member we came across could not have been more lovely or helpful. They provided suggestions for little off the beaten track places to see that the regular tourist drag doesn’t offer and we were so pleased every time. The rooms are simple, but have everything you need. Comfy bed, great shower, very clean. It was so nice to be able to stay at a place that had a restaurant and bar and we didn’t have to drive all over the place to get a great meal and a wee cocktail. The morning continental breakfast was plentiful and the decor of the property was quaint and quirky and I loved it all.

We stayed at the wildside lodges and visited 3 times for an evening meal. The meal was fantastic brilliant menu and food was excellent. Staff were friendly and made us feel very welcome . Everytime we were there it was busy yet never had to wait long on meal arriving . Staff were always making sure we were happy and nothing was to much .would strongly recommend giving the hotel a try and we will definitely be back in the future. 5 star service and 5 star food

An individual Hotel, very well decorated to be ‘different’ to the normal flat white crisp lines you see so much of these days. You walk through the door and immediately feel ‘at home’, it just has that warm welcoming atmosphere. The staff are brilliant, very friendly and customer focused. The Bar is well stocked and the food is great, with it’s remote/quiet location you find it hard to believe the Bar & Restaurant could be busy every night, but it is ! Talking to people in Fort Agustus, they all know the Hotel and it’s owners and all rave about the quality of the food, they all use the Restaurant regularly. The residents lounge is a fantastic facility and so comfortable, we went as a group of 4 and not one of us has any complaints, next time we venture back up that way we will definitely be returning customers.
