We enjoyed the Glemoriston Arms a great deal -- had 2 rooms in new wing for 2 nights. Very nice staff and very good experience. It was also a good for jump-off to hiking Glen Affric. Food at inn was also very good.

We stayed at the Glenmoriston Arms during our trip in the highlands and this was beyond doubt the best place we stayed. A charming old building with cozy, comfortable and clean rooms, set amongst beautiful woods and mountains very close to Loch Ness. The restaurant is something highly recommended, we had an amazing dinner which we still remember as the... More

Very comfortable, even luxurious stay. We stayed in the 4-poster bedroom, which also features a Jacuzzi. It came with tea, coffee, mineral water and chocolates. The staff was very welcoming, attentive and friendly. The restaurant served delicious highland food and had beautiful decor. Our booking included breakfast, which was really generous and freshly prepared. It's also very conveniently located for... More

We came to the Highlands to attend the Scottish Open DTL Championships (Clay Pigeon Shooting). We were recommended the Glenmoriston Arms Hotel by friends, as this is close to the shooting ground. When I contacted the hotel to discuss a booking, Shona was very helpful and friendly. On arrival we received a lovely welcome from Shona and her team. We... More

The Glenmoriston Arms is handily located to both Loch Ness and the nearby beautiful countryside around Glen Affric. It is unpretentious and well priced and far removed from the hype of "Nessieland”, a few miles down the road. The dining room serves huge, well cooked meals; I had the lamb shank which was delicious and fell off the bone. Our... More

We came here for dinner during our stay in Invermoristan. The food was delicious and the portions were huge. Good value for money. The bar area had a traditional highland theme and there were many local whiskies and ales on offer. The service was quick and efficient.

Our room was one of the 3 outside of the main hotel. It was drab, 2 the 3 lights in the bathroom didn't work and couldn't be fixed during our stay. Handles missing from wardrobe and chest of drawers. Cobwebs on the ceiling and sweet wrappers under the dresser from previous occupants . Plastic tooth mugs that were split, come... More

From arrival to departure we were made to feel very welcome. We were shown to room 3 which was lovely and airy with a large ensuite shower room. Nice touch of bottled water, shortbread and toiletries. We dinned in the restaurant both nights we stayed, excellent menu choices fresh made and beautiful presented. Staff very attentive and discreet. Breakfast also... More

Sometimes all you want is a good sandwich lunch. Many places try to force you to have their Carvery or their A La Carte menu at lunchtime. We had a most enjoyable, selection of sandwiches, great beverages and helpful staff and guess what? We'll come again!
