We stayed at the Lovat during a trip to the UK, including Ireland, Wales and England. It was the best property we stayed in during our entire visit. The rooms have been renovated and are very comfortable. The little touches such as the chocolate stirring spoons and quality coff

Recently stayed for 2 nights. Love visiting this hotel! - fantastic staff, always cosy and personally, one of my favourite dining places in the Highlands.

Well priced menu considering the time and efforts to create such dishes. Great choice of wines and breakfast was lovely.

We had a 5 night stay at The Lovat with our Golden Retriever in one of the Garden Rooms. It was ‘pawfect’. There were dog bowls, treats & towels left for her in the room on our arrival. The Garden Room had a secure area which was invaluable. Our dog was made welcome in the brasse

Can you let me know if dogs on leads are allowed in the bar area. Many thanks or if there is a policy
Many thanks for your question - we have 7 bedrooms allocated for guests with pets and they are welcome in the hotel anywhere with a wooden floor so that includes the Bar and Brasserie area.

Hi, We are booking a Tour through Viator and the review's say we stay at your hotel. Would you happen to know if we book for 4 people, if the room we get is for 4 people or 2 and 2. We are hoping it is 2 and 2. Thank you! -Kim
Thanks for your message - what is the name on the booking & the date please? Can you also provide an email address so we can contact you direct? Kind regards, Caroline

Hi is it possible to book a honeymoon suite? I am getting married on the 1st October and we are coming to Scotland for our honeymoon and are looking for somewhere romantic to stay for 2 nights starting on Monday 3rd October. Thanks lee.
Not sure about a 'honeymoon' room but they offer what I'd say are likely to be the luxury option rooms. The hotel is beautiful and fairly grand, so whatever room you stay in your visit will be great. Best thing to do would be to email the hotel directly and enquire. Goodluck!

Many thanks for your question and apologies for the delayed reply. There is no train line in Fort Augustus - the nearest is Fort William or Inverness - Kind regards,
