This is a very pleasant B&B set in some beautiful countryside near Loch Ness. The room was well furnished, up to date and functional. The owner was friendly and clearly very conscientious. Travellers should be aware that this B&B is a short drive away from Fort Augustus and is a little remote. The WiFi was somewhat limited.

Kevin and Trudy were wonderful hosts and incredible helpful whilst we stayed for the five nights. The location of the Bed and Breakfast is just beautiful. We couldn't have asked for a better time and a better location. And we definitely would stay there again.

Booked a few days in advance to stay on the Saturday of the Easter weekend, paid GBP72 for a twin room with shared bathroom on the top floor of the main house. A little pricey to be honest. Location is 2 miles down a single track road outside of the main town. House is well maintained and everything was clean.... More

Beautiful house in a lovely location. Lots of personal service on offer. We arrived late as part of a group. Dinners are offered here and there was plenty of choice. I really missed proper Heinz Tomato ketchup for breakfast though!

Kevin and Trudy were outstanding hosts and made our 2 night stay an enjoyable one to remember for our international party of five. Free wifi, peace and quiet, and homemade cooking what more can you ask for!. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The salmon and homemade steak pie were awesome. We even learned a regional dialect from Kevin (Tin,tin... More

I stayed in a single room on the top floor with a shared bathroom. It was a lovely sized room, and I had a great breakfast in the morning. There was a lovely guest sitting room to relax in during the evening, as well as a conservatory and outside seating area. The area is not within easy walking distance of... More

Realising we were going to be later than the specified hotel time we phone ahead which I think the hosts appreciated. Upon arrival, despite the Sat Nav leading us to the wrong place at the start, we were warmly greeted into the House. Our room was out in the bar alongside another double room which you then shared the living... More

Stayed here overnight on business in the area. Although other options were available, I wanted to stay here. I wasn't disappointed. For an overnight stay it had all that I needed. Free wifi, peace and quiet, and homemade cooking. The room was highly appointed and comfortable. I had a Thai fish cake, and then a homemade steak pie which was... More

We stayed for 1 night but wished to have stayed longer. Beautiful place. We enjoyed our room that overlooked the mountain. Everything was just perfect. The hospitality was absolute great. We loved everything and will definitely stay longer next time. Thanks to our hostess for making us feel so welcome.

We recently stayed here for one night while touring Scotland. I wish we could have stayed for a week, from the moment we drove up the driveway, we knew it was going to be special. The grounds are lovely. As we went to the main area of the house to check in Trudy came out and welcomed us like we... More
