The location is perfect, quiet place and close to everywhere (bus, shops, restaurants, etc). The bedroom was clean as the rest of the building. You can use the kitchen and there´s always coffee and milk free. The staff is young and friendly. There was parties at night in the bar but I couldn´t hear anything from the bedroom. For the price... Booked the last bed the night before and told I will have to share a bunk room....no problems I've been doing that since my army days. Arrived and checked in on wet day. Went to my dorm and found I was sharing with three young ladies, one from France, one from America and one from Holland.... and me an old... More

Stayed here as part of a Haggis Adventures Tour and loved this hostel! Only downside was the internet was slow and only available in the common areas, but everything else was great! Quiet location among the trees, large outside seating area on the lawn, and a quick walk to Loch Ness. We had supper and breakfast here for two days... More

Thank-you for your review - its good to hear you had a great stay with us and particularly enjoyed the fun in the bar. We have a plan in place to extend the wifi coverage to different parts of the building but this had to wait until Superfast broadband reached our location (which thankfully it now has!). More

Rooms are clean and comfortable (in fact our had even a private bathroom). Staff is very friendly. You can have a breakfast and a dinner. A breakfast is served in form of a buffet (but without salty food, except for boiled eggs). A dinner is great value for money. Portions are big, every thing is fresh and delicious. There is... More

Room was clean and comfortable with en suite facilities. As a middle aged couple we were given a room in a quieter area. Staff very helpful and friendly. Only draw back was the one sitting for supper which meant it was crowded; however it made for good conversation with strangers. Bar staff friendly.

Thank-you for your review. One big bonus of our hosel is we have a quiet wing for those wishing to distance themselves for any noise from our bar. We have one sitting for dinner so that our guests can get themselves onto the Loch Ness Cruise before it departs, however as you say it's a good opportunity to make new... More

What a lodge! I stayed here as part of my 5 day Haggis Adventures Highland Fling Tour at the end of July 2016. Not only is Morag's situated just a brief stroll from the centre of Loch Ness, but this brilliant hostel is clean, spacious and employs the BEST staff I've come across on my European Adventure so far. Massive... More

I stayed there for one night. The hostel looks really nice. The rooms have a big bathroom inside, with good shower. They offer breakfast and dinner, a bit expensive though. At night they did live music which was lovely.

Everyone from our tour was staying here for one night. The girls at the reception was fast and organised, we arrive in time to collect room key head to canteen for dinner followed by boat cruise down Loch Ness that that arranged for us at £12.50 each and their very own pub quiz later that evening.
