We very much enjoyed our stay. This is a very quaint, small but full service, hotel. The restaurant is very, very good and we really enjoyed our dinner. Breakfast was also very good and prices were reasonable. We stayed in the bridal suite which has a four poster bed. It was very comfortable. The surroundings are beautiful. Having grown up... More

This small hotel with about 15 rooms which are clean and adequately furnished is situated about 100 yards off the main Fort Augustus - Drumnadrochit road and provides great views of Loch Ness. The sitting room usually provides an open wood fire and the simple dining room is the venue for the one Michelin star chef to display his considerable... More

We had spent a week in a self catering apartment and decided to have a nice meal out for our last night. This hotel sits just outside of Fort Augustus heading north. The hotel looks quite nice and exactly what you would expect in the Highlands. Sitting in the parlor with s crackling fire and sipping a single malt, there... More

Hotel is in a good spot on the tip of loch ness. The town itself has nothing to offer apart from a boat trip on the loch. There were around 9 coaches in the car park with tourists sheltering from the rain in a service station. Hotel a bit dated but staff, chef and food perfect.

We have just arrived home from a 3 night break staying in The Inch. I was a little concerned as I search trip advisor before I go anywhere and was a little apprehensive. So not what I expected when I arrived. It's fabulous. The atmosphere as soon as you walk in, great. it's a old Scottish hunting lodge and that's... More

The place is, obviously beautiful. Our room had a view of Loch Ness, which was worth the reasonable cost of the stay all by itself. Four-poster bed, windows that let in the fresh air, comfy couch, all pluses. But the staff makes this a must-stay. We arrived very late for check-in, after spending too many hours sightseeing on our way... More

Old but clean and definitely comfortable and cosy, great food, excellent loung with view over Loch Ness and fireplace, and staff who go out of their way to please, especially Gavin who is charm personified and a credit to the hotel. Loved it.

Nice location. Right next to Loch and cow pastures. Nice country feel, but very close to town. Hotel is in need of updating and general maintenance. Faucets drip, toilet runs and bedding was from the last century. Good enough for one night if there are no other options. Be aware, there is no lift.
