A welcoming but unpretentious B&B. The rooms may not be as big or luxuriously furnished as some, but we had everything we needed and all in working order. (I've often been kept awake by en-suite fans. This one was so quiet I thought at first it didn't work!) Yes, it's a bit out of the town centre but we didn't...

Because we are away from water we have very few midges and they are not a problem.

Arrived here with friends and staied the night. Warm welcome and hot showers waited for us. I had the most spectacular view from our room (nr 2) looking over the mountains and the bunnies jumping around. Nice cooked breakfast. The room was slightly on a small side, but clean and comfortable, incl spotless bathroom. I would very happly stay here...

We stayed here for 1 night during our trip around the highlands. We were travelling via motorbike and the weather was particularly nasty on the ride from Loch Lomond to Fort Augustus. Needless to say, when we arrived at Corrie Liath we were cold, drenched and tired. We were greeted with the warmest welcome by Andy & Caroline, who helped...

The place is a 10-15 minutes walk from the centre. The owners are friendly and seem well organized. Rooms are clean and cozy, and breakfast was very good. There is a bus stop just outside. I took the 919 from Inverness to Fort William, the bus driver stopped for me, but told me that normally they only stop in the...

I can't understand why the bus driver said that because it is an official bus stop and is regularly used by locals and tourists and we are very lucky to have one so close by. We have never had any problems with this bus stop.

We were very lucky as we hadn't booked anywhere so when we saw there were vacancies at Corrie Liath, which we found out later was due to a two night cancellation, we got the very last available room. We received a lovely welcome from Andy and Caroline. Andy showed us to our room, was very helpful with suggesting eating out...

The owners were very pleasant and very helpful. They pointed us in the direction of a number of eateries and we selected The Boathouse which was good but a tad pricey in our opinion. If going to the Boathouse, it is advisable to book as we didn't and just managed to get a table (6-30 p.m. Thursday). As we were...

We had a wonderful stay at Corrie Liath. Andy and Caroline were very welcoming and the room was warm and clean. It was a short walk into town and they had some great recommendations for dinner. Breakfast in the morning was delicious. We would definitely recommend to others!

We had a brilliant stay and would happily go back if I'm every going to the area again. Have already recommended the Corrie Laith to family and friends. Had a lovely walk across the golf course and along the canal and in to the town for dinner. Breakfast was really good.

Hosts very helpful and friendly Nice room overlooking bird feeders . Garden full of wildlife. Room on small side but very well equipped. Pity no seating in room. No lounge either. The walk in to town too long for us particularly as weather not good. Breakfast superb.

Thank you for your nice review, we are glad you enjoyed your stay with us. Unfortunately we don't have a guest lounge as you mentioned. We do, however, have our unusual garden hut which our guests use to sit in. The walk to the village takes about ten minutes and if you take the route along the canal it is...

We enjoyed our stay here before so decided to use again on our visit to Scotland with Friends in April. Caroline and Andy made us all very welcome and we used the BBQ hut for a very enjoyable evening. Certainly the warmest way to BBQ. The rooms are kept very clean and are comfortable, felt lovely and snug inside when...
