The Holt B&B was a great choice for our one-night stay in Fort Augustus while on a Highland Experience Tour. The room was very spacious, clean, stocked with amenities, and comfortable. Phil and Clare were extremely warm and welcoming hosts. They had great recommendations on where to eat and what to see around town. Breakfast was served in the dining...

Had a two night solitary stay to help recharge my batteries as part of my recovery from serious disease. What a perfect choice! The single room was spotlessly clean and well maintained with a great view over the River Oich. It is a most tranquil place to stay with wonderfully welcoming hosts Phil and Clare who are very friendly and...

Just stayed one night, in May, 2016, but it was a memorable one. Adult daughter had the downstairs single and I shared the upstairs room with hubby, but no other guests, so we had the whole place to ourselves. Phil and Claire could not have been kinder, better hosts! Nicely appointed rooms and bathrooms, and that breakfast room is just...

We stayed here while walking the Great Glen Way in May. Cost was 65 pounds. Check-in wasn't until 4 pm but we arrived at 2 pm and saw Claire in the front yard weeding and she graciously let us check-in. It was great to be able to shower and change before we went out to explore the town. The room...

On a recent driving trip around the UK, we stayed one night at The Holt B and B. Arriving before check in we were given some information about local cruises and what to see in the area. Returning later in the afternoon we were shown to our room that overlooked the side garden and we could see the bridge pylons...

The Holt must be one of the best B&Bs I have ever stayed in. From the room and the welcome to the comfort and the service. Its location is ideal, just off the canal and its locks and within walking distance to numerous pubs and restaurants. The welcome and service is top notch. Phil and Clare go that extra mile...

This was our best B&B on the Great Glen Way and I am hard pushed to think of anywhere better in all our travels for such a reasonable price. Phil and Clare could not be more welcoming and helpful and the house is in a perfect spot with wonderful views from the conservatory at the back. Our room was spotless...

We stayed here as part of a tour to the Highlands from Edinburgh, and The Holt was wonderful! Phil and Clare were gracious hosts with a beautiful property. Phil took the time to orient us to the area, gave us a map and gave my husband directions for a nearby running trail. The B&B was situated directly across the street...
