Cedar Point Campground lies on the Normandy TVA Reservoir and the upper Duck River. It is located in southern, middle Tennessee between the towns of Normandy and Manchester. The nicely treed and grassy campground offers a secluded and quiet, family-oriented environment, and is surrounded by beautiful rolling hills and farmland. Cedar Point has a day use area, boat launch, and a small general store. A pavilion, which accommodates up to 75 people, may be reserved for a reasonable fee. The neighboring Barton Springs Campground, also managed by Recreation Resource Management, is located across the lake from Cedar Point.
Great spot on Normandy Lake. Large, nice pull-through camping lots. Quiet. Neighbors in the campground seemed laid back and family oriented. Great view of the lake too. Plan to go back in May.
The one thing I’d improve here is the bathhouse. Most campers here have larger rigs with their own toilets and showers. Great setup here for those. But smaller trailers like ours don’t include showers, especially, and we look for clean, up to date shower facilities. These are single stall shower rooms and the doors do not lock. The stalls don’t drain well either. But the water is really good and hot. The only reason we didn’t give 5 stars is this issue. Workable, usable but could use improvement.
We planned to kayak but the wind howled all weekend. Just too much to venture onto the lake for a flat paddle. Hoping mid-May is a friendlier weather trip

It is a hidden gem! The staff there is amazing and the campground stays pretty clean. Ashley, Billy, and the rest of the staff go out of their way to help everyone. Lake front sites are amazing and big.! Quiet time is at 10 and everyone adheres to that. No issues ever with sleeping. My personal favorite thing is the boat ramp is private. You never have to wait to launch your boat. The boat ramp streetlight is easy to find at night. Kids have plenty of space to ride their bikes and etc. There's a Dollar store roughly 5 miles away so if you forget something its not far. No fuel or marina on the lake so pack extra fuel with you. Ice and firewood at the campsite general store that is not overly priced like most places.

We stayed from Thursday till Monday in a Camper and had the best time of our lives. We celebrated our 20th Year Anniversary and had the most wonderful experience with new friends we made there and the most awesome people running it. Rick Sheley (the manager) Is amazing! He keeps the area clean outside and inside the bathrooms. His managing with his helpers have improved the area extremely. We made friends with the seasonal members that stay there a lot and they said this place has never been so good! Rick Sheley really made a HUGE difference in the way this place looks and the great service they offer here. They have a store that offers everything. The ladies and men that run the park and the small store onsite are amazing. Nice and professional.
We will be staying here again for a couple of reasons. Because the location and service you get when you stay here and to see the new friends we have made here. It was an amazing experience! They had their first annual Memorial Day Fish & Turkey Fry with Crab Boil and sooooooo Much more food there with Amazing deserts! Music and Games for us to play with our new friends we made there.
Ill end with this. Our 20th Anniversary couldn't have been better! Perfect way to celebrate our special day! Thank you, Rick Sheley and his great employees, for making our stay so wonderful. God Bless, Kirk & Amy Yates

We loved Cedar Point Campground!! It was clean, quiet, and beautiful. Marc and Tara were wonderful, and they are doing a fabulous job managing this campground. The waterfront campsites were especially nice, very level to the water's edge, and we were able to launch our kayaks directly from our campsite. There is also a boat ramp, swimming area, great fishing, and nice areas for walking and riding bikes. Can't wait until our next visit to this gem of a campground.

We stayed at Cedar Point Campground for Easter Weekend. The campground is very well maintained and clean. The host are excellent and very accommodating. They hosted an Easter Egg hunt for all the kids and had an Easter bunny for the kids to take pictures with. We love camping here and have already booked several more spots this summer. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets.

We had such a wonderful visit on our first trip to Cedar Point Campground that we immediately planned another trip back, just a few weeks later.
Marc and Tara are incredible campground managers. They are present anytime they are needed and are constantly checking to see if anybody is short on firewood or ice. They are extremely friendly and welcomed us on each visit like we were old friends.
This campground books up quickly so be sure to snag your spot. There are a few seasonal campers but the sites are kept up with well. We had sites 8, 10 and 30 during our stays, and loved them all. If I could rate Cedar Point, and Marc and Tara, higher than 5 stars, I certainly would.

Beautiful campground. Short walk to the beach area or just a hop skip and a jump from your campsite. Boat ramp within the park and extra parking area for your trailer. Bathrooms are a single shower with two toilet areas. Very clean but plan ahead if needing to use the shower. Overall a great campground!

Wife and I enjoyed 30 days in April. Quiet, peaceful, and serene do not adequately describe our experience. Managers Tara and Mark were always on top of everything big and small. Everyone....... Larry, Ruby, Billy were the best at making us feel warm and welcome. Other Guests were the same, sharing caught fish, fellowship, fireside chats etc. Everyone laid back but cordial. Special thanks for friendships made with Cody and Staci.
We are returning in May and this will be a favorite getaway. We found absolutely everything to be what a camping experience should be. Will not hesitate to recommend.
