Booked here on spec as we needed a night away after a fairly stressful few months. No online booking but email/telephone booking went without a hitch. Ignore your sat nav as it will try to take you to Loch Duart fishery, the hotel is just around the corner. My heart was gladdened from the off as there was a 'Caution... More

Thank you so much! We are delighted you enjoyed Eddrachilles and Bailey and Magnus - the White Cats of Eddrachilles - are graciously pleased to accept your compliments! We've kept the menu small in our first season but will also be offering a Taster Menu on certain days from September. Something a bit special for our discerning foodie guests who... More

We stayed at the Eddrachilles Hotel for one night while doing the North Coast 500 route. We both enjoyed our stay. We understand it has recently been taken over by new owners who are in the process of fixing things up a bit. As such the new towels and sheets were quite luxurious, but the room decor was a little... More

Thank you for taking the time to review our hotel and we're delighted that you had a good stop over while tackling the North Coast 500. The weather in early August wasn't ideal so we're very pleased you found the room cosy. And yes, we agree with your point on the dated decor. We've just started working with an interior... More

I have stayed here a few times while working in the area. The owners can't do enough for you, they are really lovely people. The food is fab!! Also, I have had the best nights sleep staying here, very comfortable and clean. I especially like all the little details and touches with everything in the hotel. From the gorgeous toiletries,... This was one of the most disappointing stays on our 5 week Land's End to John O'Groats trip. The hotel is in a great setting with good views from some rooms (including room 10 which we had), although the hotel itself is definitely faded elegance. We appreciate that it is Fiona and Richard's first season here and that they seem... More

Thank you for taking the time to review our hotel after your short stay in June. Even when the comments are not easy to read, the views of our guest help to inform and shape our very active programme for improving our new hotel which we believe has real potential. You joined us during the 2-3 weeks in June when... More

The Eddrachilles hotel is located a few miles outside the little village of Scourie and ideally suited for a visit of the island on Handa. The main building of the hotel including the dining room retains the stone walls of some 200 years ago. The bar is well stocked with whisky's from all over Scotland.

Thank you so much! We are glad you enjoyed your trip to Handa Island and delighted that you appreciated that the hotel is also an authentic Highland home of several centuries standing. We hope to see you again some day...a chance to enjoy some more of those whiskies by the fire or even watching the sunset over the bay. More

Twin room for 2 nights at £120 per night b&b (courtyard room) £160 for room with a view. A lovely wee hotel in a lovely location, lots of potential for the future. We had booked this hotel several months in advance and during this time it had changed hands. The new owners contacted us a couple of times to confirm our booking and honoured the original rate we were quoted. I know that this hotel has had a change of ownership recently and it will be an immense task to bring it up to date. The furnishings and decoration are all quite old fashioned. We stopped off for coffee and were warmly welcomed by the new owner. The conservatory is a stunning place to enjoy their very good scones and coffee.
